Maracas Hand Percussion Rattles, Wooden Rumba Shaker Musical Instrument for Kids Adults, Set of 2

I am a retired professional musician with an excellent ear, and teach piano to children and adults. With my kid students, I use these alongside other percussion instruments, giving them a choice of which they would like to use (or mix together) when we learn rhythm skills. Then we compare the tone colors of each instrument, as part of ear training. I really like these, finding the sound bright yet pleasingly mellow, both at the same time. I respectfully disagree with other reviewers who say that the sound is not professional and is lacking. Exactly what I like about them is the very nice tone, and this is important to me, as professionally-trained musician. The colors are pleasingly bright, and so far they have not broken, cracked or shipped as kids have occasionally dropped them. Very nice maracas for such a fantastic price! Five stars! :-)

Cute as a button these maracas are!! They make a tad more noise than I was expecting, which is good because I did not expect them to be very loud. And there not loud, but they have an adequate sound, especially for kids. The look nicely made, nicely painted- the colors are very attractive, and they're kinda cheap- so that's nice!

High quality. My grandson loves them. His parents not so much. Lol

I wanted these as a training aid for a excessive barking dog. They are not very loud so hoping they work. They are a great size and are well made.

Colorful but the finish feel rough. These are not very loud. I bought them for my grandson who has cerebral palsy and loves music but wanted something a little louder.

These at real Marcos they sound and feel like the real thing just in a smaller version they came very quickly and very reasonably priced

Purchased for toddler grandson. Despite him wanting to use them to beat on tables they seem to be sturdy. The size is better suited for children; they're not tiny but not full size either.
