Most Fantastic pan ever!!
So happy to get my 12 inch one. I have a 9 inch pan and I call it my miracle pan. I have never been able to do steaks well at all and the slip stone pan cooks it perfect each time. Pork, eggs, stir fry veggies. It makes me so comfortable cooking meats now because everyone of them has turned out perfect. My husband is so pleased to at last have a perfect steak. And he stated that he never thought pork tasted so good. It truly is a miracle. I call it my "magic pan" - it's like a person can't do wrong. Now with the 12 inch I can do even more things. I can wipe it clean right away. I know the handle can be put at an angle for storage but the 9 inch is never stored - we (my husband uses it also) use it more than once a day - twice most of the time - no time for storage. And I'm sure that the 12 inch will probably be in the same catagory and I am looking forward to making some really good omelets because the 12 inch is larger for that and so many other things. I am one happy chef.

Great even heating skillet. Love fold up handles.
My favorite skillet. I have two of these, one purchased on Amazon and another from a competitor company. I used the first one several times and liked it so much that when I saw an even better price on it at Amazon I had to get another one. These are my go to pans for frying our eggs. I still use a tad bit of vegetable oil because I flip the oil over the top of the eggs so you can flip them sooner without scabbing the bottom. I like my eggs very runny. The heat distribution is very even on this skillet also. I have other skillets I paid more for that don't heat evenly and one that no matter what ends up scabbing eggs. The foldup handle is also very convenient. I would recommend and have thought about purchasing one of the 12" versions.

With TLC the best nonstick pans ever
This is the best nonstick pan I've found and at a very reasonable price. I've tried many nonstick pans including very expensive ones and they all get ruined after a couple of years even though I take extremely good care of them. That means washing them carefully by hand with a soft sponge, separating them from other pans while in storage with foam or paper towels, and not using metal utensils with them. My first set of Slip Stones lasted almost two years just like the extremely expensive ones, except at a fraction of the cost. And they're not completely useless because I can still use them when I have to fry something on very high heat like bacon. The expensive ones were only good for the trash after one or two years. The instructions say not to use high heat as this can damage them, so I'm thinking my new set should last even longer than two years because I won't be frying bacon in them. I always use oil except with bacon of course, from my experience it's just not practical not to.

Fantastic frying pan but the price is WAY too high
We fell in love with these pans several years ago. No matter how you cook with them they stay no-stick, they clean easily and they are easy to store because the handle folds. We have given them as gifts and only bought this one because after several years the handle finally broke. The pan itself was still good. Every time we have gotten them in the past they were $10. Now, however, they are $25. I could understand $15 but $25 is too much. The price is getting high enough that we may need to go elsewhere.

This is my 2nd slipstone pan I've purchased. ...
This is my 2nd slipstone pan I've purchased. The first was about 4 years ago at a big box store because someone stole it from my storage unit and this one from Amazon. I'm a professional truck driver and this pan is used almost daily and often twice a day in my truck. I use it with a small propane gas single burner stove. I mostly cook eggs and grill sandwiches. I sometimes have extra time and will do up a chicken breast, quick burger, or a small steak. I've never had any problems with the coating not doing it's job or peeling. The main reason for purchasing this pan was the folding handle. I have a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia. This pan fits in the pockets in the door of the cabinet behind the driver seat. It heats quickly and cooks evenly. With any nonstick you have to treat it right. Never heat it with nothing in the pan. An empty pan heating to optimal temps will damage the coating on any nonstick pan. It also cools fast so I'm not waiting forever to put it away so I can get back on the road. Clean up is quick. I usually wipe it out with a baby wipe or two and then a paper towel with water to rinse be it off. I have Calphalon at home and if offered a complete set of slipstone I wouldn't hesitate to switch.

Love mine, bought this for my daughter
I bought a set of these pans for myself about a year and a half ago. I love them for sauteing, cooking pancakes or eggs, reheating leftovers, you name it. I bought this pan for my daughter because her "non-stick" pan was in terrible shape. (I don't think any of the non-sticks last very long) but Slip Stone is going strong for me. Follow these rules and it will last a long time. 1 Only use silicone or plastic utensils...never metal 2 Use low to medium high heat...never highest heat 3 You can use a little oil or butter...never, never, never non-stick spray (PAM)

Handle arrived broken off
I want to start off by saying that the smaller version of this pan (10 inches?) is amazing. I have had the smaller version for years and use it all the time. The handle works great for saving space and it still has its non-stick quality. THIS pan however... my parents got theirs a few years ago and the handle broke immediately. I really wanted a larger pan with the same nonstick quality that my smaller slip stone pan has, so I decided to order it anyway and hope for the best. The pan arrived with the handle completely broken off. So I'm pretty bummed.

Nice Skillet
I found one of these on a clearance rack at Wal-Mart a while back. It quickly became my favorite skillet. Very little sticks to it and it is easy to clean. (A hint - don't use oven cleaner to clean the bottom). I have looked since and have not found another one. While shopping on Amazon I happened to see them and ordered three. Two for me and one for my daughter-in-law who keeps trying to confiscate it.
