Works great, once you get to use it properly, it melts to fast in your hand before you get to use it, even though I store them in the frig as instructed. Also, they are not as long as other suppositories so it’s either hit or miss before it completely melts down.

My hemorrhoids suddenly started to bleed quite profusely after undergoing surgery under anesthesia. I immediately stated Preparation H with phenylephrine which did not help much. My doctor prescribed hydrocortisone cream which slowed the bleeding but not entirely (after a week of use) I searched Amazon for products that had high recommendations from other users, and decided to try the PROKTIS. Several reviewers had complaints about this product, but I think they may have been doing something wrong. It's important to keep them in the refrigerator, as they do melt fairly quickly when warm. In any case, they worked great for me. I suffered with very painful anal fissures for three weeks. I tried everything: liquid diet for three days to prevent a movement, nothing but fruits and vegetables for a week. Great for losing weight, but did nothing for the fissures. After three days of using this product, the fissures were completely healed. Excellent product!
