it improves digestion, but it also cause bloating the brand i was using before with 650mg hcl with pepsin, it was not causing any such problem..

This has been amazing for me. It resolved months of bloat and slow digestion in days. It’s hard to miss the results but I needed it? Many people don’t. But if you do you’ll be glad you tried it. If you don’t, it will seem like a waste.

Ive suffered for years with a chronic cough that's only gotten worse with age, despite treatment for everything from allergies to asthma to ear infections to nervous system issues by a variety of doctors. But last year, unable to sleep because of constant fits of coughing I insisted my doctor send me to specialists for testing. No asthma, no allergies. Although I didnt feel symptoms of indigestion, my doctor suggested GERD and put me on Prilosec for 2 weeks. It helped until I stopped taking it and the acid reflux was so bad my doctor suggested Zantac, to avoid the side effects of Prilosec, especially since I already have osteoporosis. It didnt help, so I bought some more Prilosec OTC, and then some more. Worried about the longtern consequences, I weaned myself off it and started carrying a bottle of Tums with me wherever I went. I was eating them constantly, along with nighttime cough medication at bedtime, but the coughing still kept me, and my partner, awake at night. Frustrated by the lack of relief, I took the advice of a relative who suggested digestive enzymes and supplements such as ginger, turmeric, and licorice. I tried several formulations without noticeable improvement. Then a neighbor told me how HCl had helped her. I remember reading how stomach acid decreases with age. D,esperate for relief, I did a search on Amazon and found this product. As soon as I started taking these, my cough began to subside. I'm skeptical of miracle cures, so I kept taking them to see if the relief would last and after several months, the cough hasn't returned, even though I often forget to take these until after I've finished eating, even until bedtime, but they work anyway. As an extra benefit, since taking them my chronic constipation is also much improved. I haven't yet told my doctor but will at my next annual check up. I hope I can convince him to suggest these to all his patients with stomach issues.

Former vegan here - I started eating meat again for dietary purposes, and I was having a hard time digesting meat. It just felt like it sat there in my stomach and gurgled. A friend recommended this brand after her doctor suggested ox bile to help push things along in the digestion process. I take one with meals containing meat and my digestion seems to be much more efficient now. My only drawback is that I can smell/taste the pills when they go in my mouth. Still being new to meat, I'm really sensitive to the smell of bile and animal based enzymes. I can even smell it in melting butter so it may just be 'me'.

I have always been skeptic when I read reviews about products, I'm a nonbeliever until it happens to me.....THIS product does work. I had my GB removed 2 yrs ago and I have had issues since and I had taking many products in the past, some works for awhile....but for the last few months, I have been experience upset stomach and pain as if i was having a GB attack. I would have to ride it out and it would go away on its own. Yesterday, I started taking this product before a meal......my goodness!!!....I did not have any issues with an upset stomach,bloating or acid reflex when I woke up I did not experience any nauseated stomach that i usually have every morning .....so far so good and I'm a believe that" you get what you pay for" .....hopefully, this is a product that will continue to work for me.

My mom uses HCL and we both have gut issues so she suggested trying it. I had never heard of it before. I wanted to try, but always look for brands that have natural ingredients, including how they make their capsules. This product has very good ingredients. I have to say the Ox Bile definitely had me question the purchase, and I'm still not quite sure why it's added. But Overall, it's a great supplement. You're supposed to take it while you're eating a heavy meal. I do notice it helps my digestion. Sometimes at night I would notice my stomach cramping up, but it never does when I take one of these. I would try it if you struggle with gut health.
