The only time I see silverfish in my home, they are usually on the wall and it doesn't seem like there is a practical place nearby to put these.** A: I place them above the shower head. And some under shelves and anywhere there there is a silver fish seen. I had them all around my house. The kitchen you have to be careful not to put one by food. Its good to put under drawers that have non food items. Under the fridg. and stove. Always remember to put some in the attic and sub basement. Where ever there is moister put one. I use them everywhere. My friend had some come out of her light switch. She didn't have it covered so that is how she found them. She stuck one up above with tape and they were gone in a week or so. I hate silverfish that is why I use these packets. I have been for several years. They really work. **Q: The package (and most reviews) says this β€˜controls’ silverfish. I do not know what that means. They were not messy, nor did they require any special -- other than common sense -- handling. I collect old magazines, pamphlets, brochures, etc. and, needless to say, these can be a silverfish banquet hall! I try and keep my treasures organized and packaged so they aren't conveniently available for noshing on, but that's not always quite possible; I'd begun seeing the hairy multi-legged silverfish scuttling -- and they are remarkably fast -- across the floor occasionally, and when you see them, you know you got 'em! After a little research for an effective remedy to the problem, I decided to give the topic product a try based on user reports -- I went ahead and ordered these through Amazon, and, as is typical, got them within a day or two. Spread them out on what I deemed to be 'runs' and noticed, after about a week, I wasn't seeing them anymore! Several weeks have elapsed now, and still NO more silverfish! Knock on wood! I'm hoping this product is responsible for the disappearance of the 'print' devastators -- and I will recommend it accordingly.
