Love this tape. It sticks really well in general and usually doesn't leave any residue. The only time it did, and also had issue sticking, was when using on glass out in the summer sun. And the residue was still very easy to clean off. It's also easy to tear. It came in clutch when I needed to put up a projector screen on a interior wall. I just lined the perimeter with this stuff and it stuck on with no issues and came off with no residue on either surface. This stuff is essentially industry standard for a reason. It works!

Been using gaffer tape for 30+ years as a photographer and lighting crew/stagehand and there are definitely differences in quality between different manufactures. To me the most important features are stickiness and ability to tear. This is very sticky and works well with paper backgrounds, which is the main purpose I bought this role for. It also very easy to tear, which I very much appreciate! My other concern is whether it will leave residue or dry out if left in place for a while. There’s nothing worse than taking tape off only to find all the dried out adhesive is left behind. I often put a few strips of gaff tape on my tripod legs or light stands to ensure I always have at least a few feet available to me even if I leave the roll behind, and after a few months that can sometimes be messy. I just received this role recently, but I’ll be putting it to the test and wel see how it holds up over time!! In the meantime I’m very happy with the quality and value of this role.

I work on TV and in music, and this is the same quality tape the pros use. Trust.

Great for setting wireless lav mics and thin wires at various locations on stage sets for the productions I livestream. No more need to rip thin strips out of 2" wide rolls, and less mass to haul around onstage. Interestingly enough, at the time I discovered/bought the 1", it was less than half the cost of the 2" wide rolls. Go figure. Anyway, I'm very pleased with this width - quality is quite good and after years working with the wide stuff, this has definitely earned a place in my kit. Recommended.

The tack is a bit lower than I'm used to with gaffer's tape, but depending on your needs that might not even be a bad thing, just means you use a little more. This stuff seems really high quality otherwise. Tears easily and cleanly and needless to say it comes off clean.

Has just the right amount of sticky, and backing has proper flex and strength. I would buy again.

Well, I see it everywhere on the description part of the product: 1"x 55 yds. But did it sink in? Nooooooo. I just looked at the picture and figured it was a standard size roll of gaff tape. Well, it is but it's narrow. Again, 1-inch wide. Get out a ruler (like I should've done) and remind yourself how wide an inch is. This is not a complaint. This is not a flaw. It's me admitting to being a bonehead consumer not paying attention to the dimensions. Does the width matter? Not really, but I've been accustomed to rolls of gaffer tape in the 2-3" width and that's what I assumed I was buying. I'm a wee bit skeptical about the photo, though. It sure looks like a 2-inch wide roll. Other than that, it's good tape.... Having been in a production career most of my adult life I can attest to the fact that this is the real deal: real gaffing tape/gaffer's tape. Although it's somewhat on the 'cheaper' side of quality, it still functions like gaff tape should, sticking to stuff, or sticking stuff together and then not leaving any residue when removed, or having too heavy of adherence to whatever is being held by it. In other words, it comes off easy without damaging the "thing."

Worked a treat for the intended purpose. No residue left on the stage or the cables.

I bought this tape to use to stick up my square plastic indoor antenna on the wall. As my stickers that came with the antenna wore out after twice moving it around for better reception. This tape can be used over and over again with no problem.

Great adhesion, warm or cold, smooth surface or even felt. It sticks. I used it primarily for esthetics on acoustic fibre panels to get the exact look I wanted (1" black stripes) See pic But I've been using it for a number of other things as well. What I like best is it's not shiny, and doesn't have that sticky gooey feel like hockey tape. Super easy to tear by hand. Very handy tape.

Works well as gaffer tape should. I use it for a variety of things including stabilizing my gorillapod on the car roof during extreme winds and stabilizing a suction cup mount to my car window. Doesn't leave a residue, strong tape but easy to rip and do not need scissors. Great for on the go needs.
