Great for hot tubs
Great product. Good for reducing chloramines. I shock my hot tub after every use, so we use a lot of this stuff. The 5 lb tub makes it far more convenient.

GREAT for Resolving Cloudy Water - Bulk Purchase
The company from which I purchased our hot tub told me when the water gets cloudy, that chlorine is hard on the system and that I should use an oxidizer. For whatever reason, cloudy water is not uncommon in my hot tub despite regular maintenance. I found I was going through the Clorox bottle of oxidizer (this same stuff) too quickly for approx $10 a bottle, especially when an application can be 2 - 6 oz! That along with the other chemicals I use on a regular basis (clarifier and stain/scale), required some strategizing, to buy in bulk. This is how I landed on this brand/bottle and it's been working well. I HIGHLY recommend it if you find yourself using an oxidizer fairly frequently. And don't believe Clorox's assertion for their product that it takes 30 minutes to clear up. It does not. It can take 24 - 48 hours to clear up, as my retailer even said.

A Must-Have for a Fresh, Clean Hot Tub
I've been using the Renu and Reserve combo in my hot tub for over a decade now, and honestly, I won’t use anything else. It’s just that good. Renu has a kind of sand-like texture, while Reserve is a liquid, and together they keep my water crystal clear with minimal effort. You just pour it in—no complicated measuring, no constant testing—and it does its thing. Super easy. What really sets this duo apart is the scent. There’s no harsh chemical smell like you get with other products. When I lift the cover, I’m greeted by clean, clear water and a soft, pleasant aroma that makes the whole hot tub experience feel a little more spa-like. If you want something effective, low-maintenance, and actually enjoyable to use, I can’t recommend Renu and Reserve enough. Total game changer.
