You can tell right away this is a well-made thermometer — it feels solid and good quality from the start. Temperature readings are precise and consistent. I compared it side-by-side with my Meater and also with the Ninja Outdoor XL's included thermometer probe - and the results were very close. Yes, it’s not Bluetooth, but honestly, for the price difference, I don’t miss the “leave it and walk away” feature. I’d rather save the money and still get accurate results. PROS: 1. Feels well built and durable + water resistant so it's easy to wash it. Backlit display is also helpful if you are cooking outside in the evenings. 2. Precise, accurate temperature readings, with both Celsius and Fahrenheit options. 3. Precise temperature readings, same as with more expensive thermometers. 4. Has even a cheat sheet behind with cooking temperatures for good results. CONS / TO NOTE: Not a real con, but to note that it’s fast, but not instant — you need to hold it in place for a few seconds while the temperature climbs before it settles. In my experience if you keep it outside in cold weather and stick it into a chicken breast for checking - it will take more than advertised 3 second to climb up to the actual temperature. But you can leave with this in my opinion. Overall, a reliable, no-nonsense thermometer that does exactly what it should. Excellent value for the price. Can definitely recommend it. Works well and easy to use

Decent, and useful. Easy to work, instructions useful and clear,fits securely on front of oven for storage capacity. Seems durable and useful in quick display.

I like red things. I have a red car. I have red sunglasses. And I needed a meat thermometer and this one's close enough to red (it's everso slightly orangey) that I chose this one over the others. At the end of the day, it's a food thermometer. Stick it in the meat, it gives a reading on the LCD display that tells you the temperature of the meat. It feels good quality, it's waterproof so it's easy to clean under the tap, and the little hook allows you to hang it on the end of the barbecue or the pan rack above the oven, and it's even got a magnetic back so you can use it to hold your kids' drawings on the fridge door if you really want to. It folds up neatly so it's easy to store safely and you can switch the temperature between celsius and fahrenheit and the display is backlit like an old Timex watch so you can see the screen as the evening light fades and you're sipping your wine rather than keeping an eye on the barbecue. I'm sure there are others out there that can bluetooth to your phone so you can sit with your mates and wait for the meat to reach temperature, but they're clearly more expensive and honestly where's the fun in that. I prefer to stand on my own at the barbie while the April showers drizzle on me and the family's inside watching Britain's Got Talent.

Seems to do exactly what it’s described to. I was looking for a fast reading thermometer I could use to make yogurt at home. When put into the milk it takes probably 3-5 seconds to settle on the temperature and that’s good enough for me. Accuracy must be good because my yogurt turned out perfectly. Will be using when cooking meat too. Love that it came with a battery but also a little screwdriver to open the battery compartment! It feels a nice quality. To be honest I didn’t read the instructions. Only a couple of buttons so doesn’t take long at all to figure out. My 4 year old used it.

Sometimes the old ways are not better. Pies, roast beef, lasagna, soup or CSI style body temp - this is the quickest and safest way to check temperature. Though make sure you wash it well after the last example. It's sharp, magnetic and easy to read. All the things that make it really useful for a ready to use probe. It's well enough made for just shy of £10 and I've washed it repeated in hot water and it's still working. It is better to be safe than sorry with food - but you should still taste test and check meat colour before serving. Point in hand was a test on a hog-roast joint where the probe was in the stuffing not the meat.

Reçu rapidement, bien emballé dans son joli petit carton, livré avec sa pile AAA (je trouve mieux que les piles bouton). Joli petit objet, bien fait, a l'air solide, pratique, aimanté pour rangement facile, rétroéclairé, Waterproof IPX6 (c'est rassurant), peut être lavé sous l'eau courante sans crainte. On peut choisir degré fahrenheit ou célsius (anciennement centigrade), il affiche rapidement (environ 4 secondes) la température des aliments. Il a une fonction d'étalonnage ce qui permet de recalibrer le thermomètre. Plage de température de moins 50º C à plus 300º C. (ou équivalent en fahrenheit) S'éteint automatiquement après 10 minutes de non utilisation. Mode d'emploi en Anglais, Français, Allemand, Italien, Espagnol. Très bon rapport qualité prix, satisfait de mon achat.

It's built decently, it comes with a battery, it's very quick, accurate and easy ro clean. I use it often with my offset smoker, and I can only recommend this. By the way, I recently saw a Youtube documentary about Goldee's, in which they used the same one. That says something don't it?
