Love the individual servings of Special K
My husband and I love these. This is so much easier and nicer than cereal from a big box... we find that we eat these often; and hardly ever ate cereal otherwise. These are great to take to work. The individual portion size helps us, and we love having the freshness these provide. The cost is excellent as well. And the container recyclable.

Tastes like the original but more substantial in a great value sized box that will go fast!
Crunchy at first but softens after a bit in milk so you can have it either way! I like some sugar on them :). They seem bigger than I remember but really good. These are not the grim cinnamon flavor / more the genuine original. Thank you Amazon. This value size is huge!

The best!
A lot higher in calories than I would have thought but still in my top 5 of cereals. Great snack, also great to add bacon to the bowl in the morning (crumbled up). Also great to add to any dish that needs a crunch!

Stores out of stock so then there's amazon
This is the only cereal a family member will eat, Special K the original, no fruit or flavors just plain thank you. So because of a strike it was no where on the supermarket shelves, so I ordered for the first time on Amazon. Was it a good price? No, a little more than usual and the added fee made it way more. But I paid for the convenience and getting the product. A small price to make someone happy.

The one and only original Special K crispy rice flake cereal
The one and only original Special K crispy rice flake cereal. Nothing added. I especially detest the high-protein version, which is to be avoided. Insist on ORIGINAL Special K cereal - then, add anything you want to add. I take mine straight up, with a splash of 1% organic milk.

Neat to Eat
I used about 1/4 cup of skim milk and have a less than 100 calorie quick breakfast or snack that is nutritious to boot! Convenient single servings, compact, perfect to store in a desk drawer, a locker, even to tote in your bag on the go, so glad I made this purchase.

Hello Portion Control - But Buyer Beware, This Isn't Necessarily A "Diet" Product
So long story short, I've been trying to get in shape for summer (yay, bikini season...). I figured Special K was a reputable brand with a great "diet-oriented marketing scheme". I'd give em' a shot. Before I go on my little rant let me start by saying that these bowls were very well-packaged and came securely arranged in a large box. The bowls are nice little plastic containers with easy-to-remove plastic lids. They're filled well and all of the cereal was very fresh- and not broken into crumbs. They're light-weight and fantastic for bringing to work/ school/ on the road/ etc.. I keep the bowls, re-clean them when I'm done eating, and use them as disposable cat food bowls for my kitties. Hooray for upcycling! So what's the problem? This cereal is honestly one big hoax when it comes to dieting. The serving size of these bowls is 3/4 cup. The calories per serving size are 70. They're relatively low in sugar and made with a decent array of ingredients- including rice flour (which actually doesn't have an awful glycemic index). The kicker is that VERY high sugary alternatives, let's take Fruit Loops for example, are only 20 more calories per 3/4 cup. The same bowl of Fruit Loops would be 90 calories. That 20 calorie difference isn't really that severe. And calling this a 'diet' food is a bit extreme. A true healthy diet food would be 1 cup of oatmeal mixed with sweetened almond milk and dried berries - a healthy, nutrient rich food that comes in at around 200 calories, but will keep you fuller, longer, and offer up a much healthier array of ingredients. Don't let these bowls trick you into thinking that you're actually eating healthy. You're barely giving your body anything to sustain itself on, and chances are you'll feel hungry again in about an hour. With that being said, these absolutely can help with a diet in terms of portion control. I use these as my 'sweet treat'. I eat them with 1/4 cup of 1% milk (25 calories) and a packet of Splenda no calorie sweetener (3 calories). That brings the entire bowl to 98 calories. The sweetness of the Splenda and cereal makes me feel as though I'm getting a snack and it's a great way to cure my craving for something sweet after dinner without gorging on something awful like a Reeces or Poptart. The fact these bowls are pre-portioned keeps me from over-eating and allows me to easily and conveniently measure out my food without needing to pull out an actual measuring cup. The bowls are sturdy and can very easily fit into a lunch box or backpack and be taken with you when you travel. I give them to my kids in the car on long car rides. It's a nice little treat that they can eat to keep busy without (once again) over-indulging on unnecessary calories. They're a bit messy, dry, because they are small and crumbly pieces- but they're a good snack nonetheless. And the travel size bowls are just so convenient. The taste is yummy. Imagine 'frosted flakes' without the frosting. They're rice flakes. They taste a lot like rice crispies and they even have that similar 'popping' noise when you pour milk in. Add a bit of Splenda and these are irresistibly yummy! If I was rating these only taste alone I'd give them 5 stars. They are delicious. But because of their whole 'this is a diet food' label, I had to be brutally honest and rate them 3 stars. Aside from the misleading diet idea this cereal is great. It tastes good, the individual serving bowls are awesome, and I'll honestly buy more. Just be aware if you're using this as a diet meal. There are better, more fulfilling alternatives. As a portion controlled snack, though- these are fantastic. Treat them more like a cookie than a breakfast food in terms of dieting and they'll work great.
