Outdoor Life

Not sure that this is what Amazon wants from me, but I love Outdoor Life and this is actually a subscription renewal. If you know the magazine, then you know why it is so popular. I'll say that ordering it through Amazon is a great idea because they take care of your renewals and also give you a fantastic price. You just need to order once and then forget about renewing. Sit back and enjoy every issue of a great fishing and outdoors mag.

I have been a subsciber of OL for quite some time now, around 15 years. I have been a fan for a lot longer than that. Great informational articles as well as special interest reading. Bring back Pat McManus and the last laugh!

I love all of the vivid photography, insider tips and tricks, information on various sporting destinations, and stories. I receive the digital version to my Kindle Fire HD, so I have it with me all of the time and share excerpts with my outdoor friends. I consider it one of the best bargains that I have found! Not to mention it makes my new device shine! Thanks!

My husband goes through withdrawals if he doesn't have this magazine. I don't read it but it has been a staple in our household for years. I would go with 5 stars but the magazine is getting much thinner with fewer pages and seems to have less content than it did even a year ago. I could live the rest of my life without seeing pictures of dead deer and other things but the hubby is a hunter and a an outdoorsman and enjoys this mag a lot.

I really enjoy my outdoor life subscription. Every issue makes me excited to get out of the house and try something new. Definitely as much or more advice and stories than product placement, which is a welcome change from most hunting and fishing periodicals. A good addition to the library of anyone who enjoys wildlife sports.

While there are some interesting articles, they are few and far between. In fact several months, there have been almost as many full page ads as there are pages with articles on them. Quite honestly, I'm really sick of being blasted with full page ads for smokeless tobacco, cigarettes and e-cigarettes in a magazine about the "clean outdoor life". I realize smokers go outside too, but I honestly feel like I'm reading a magazine you'd pick up at a tobacco store. The writing in the articles is OK, but nothing that really jumps out at you. It seems to be more or less just surviving than actually trying to provide anything useful or interesting.

Loved the articles in the recent issue I received. Have me some good ideas for the next time I go out camping which I hope will be soon rather then later. The prices were great.

I love it when these magazines arrive. There is great advice on hunting strategies and tactics as well as reviews on new equipment, which is really helpful to me. Reading this is a great escape from normal life, letting you think about your next hunting trip.
