Fortunately it does have an input slot for micro sized memory card. Actually the 2GB card would have been plenty, but alas, these do not seem to be available anymore. Anyway the SanDisk 4GB card worked fine. Went online to download maps, and system detected the added memory, then loaded all maps for continental US and Canada, with no problem.
