Without Lights: These sticks perform great. Installing them is easy and the build quality is fantastic. G.Skill customer support is great. I initially had issues with the XMP profile, and when I called their support line, an *actual human* picked up the phone and walked me through troubleshooting. If they had a quick note inside the box about XMP/EXPO and how to diagnose any issues, that might help, but I'm still very satisfied with the support I received. I haven't tried overclocking the RAM further than the 6000MHz or tightening timings beyond the 36-36-36-96; I'll update if I do. With RGB: The G.Skill software is pretty barebones, and it notes that it might interfere with other RGB software. There aren't any settings for alternating between two colors or two brightnesses with a breathing mode, which is a shame. I also saw that the sticks aren't exactly in sync with one another if you do any moving patterns that are supposed to be synchronized, which is jarring. That being said, I wanted white without any movement, and that is what I was able to do, very easily. I also don't have to keep the app running in order to keep the lighting effect which is very nice. All said: I would give 4.5 stars because of the first party RGB software, but since I don't have any other software to try with it, I'm completely satisfied.

Glad I purchased these before the price hike. They work great, I had an issue when adjusting to 6000mhz in bios but it just was a user error. Would highly recommend.

The ram has been exceptional since Feb '24. EXPO worked out of the box and I've had no stability issues. Color is easily controlled via Mobo or software (I use SignalRGB), however it is clear where the LEDs are. If you need a good kit for a gaming PC this may be the one for you. I paid sub 120. Do not buy in this Rampocolypse.

That RAM put up with all kinds of abuse and kept on ticking, so naturally, I had to stick with the brand. And the Trident Z5 did not disappoint. It slotted in perfectly, fired up without a hitch, and now my PC’s running smoother than a fresh jar of peanut butter. Plus, with those sleek heatsinks and RGB lighting, it’s like having a mini rave inside my case—who knew RAM could bring this much style to the party? If you’re looking for RAM that performs like a champ and looks like it belongs in a glass display, G.SKILL Trident Z5 is the way to go. Five stars for doing everything RAM should do and looking absolutely stunning while doing it.

These were a supplement to black colored memory sticks otherwise of same manufacturer and specification. The XMP profile failed once these were added to system memory. An alternative memory access speed support feature was able to be enabled in BIOS, so performance has been fine. Boot time when XMP is initially enabled in BIOS is very slow- akin to a deep dive memory test process, but unless it fails, only occurs once. Same for other memory access speed boost BIOS options. Gaming benchmarks and other stress tests have proven memory to be completely stable and without fault. The design is clean, and the white color compliments motherboards and PC cabinets based around this color scheme better.

Glad I bought these before the price hike. 0 problems with them just I recommend not using mystic light and L-connect together. The software is conflicting on my rgb pc but the almost non rgb pc this ram lightning function is controlled smoothly.

Hay muchos comentarios sobre incompatibilidad de este RAM, no me funcionaba sin una actualización de BIOS de mi tarjeta madre (No es difícil de hacer, hay muchos tutoriales en YouTube). Pero ahora me funciona sin problema. Para estar seguros chequen el QVL de la tarjeta madre para verificar si su tarjeta madre puede usar este RAM.
