Great Bazaar Swad Round Cinnamon Stick, 7 Ounce

We started buying this when we stopped buying pre-ground. We use this in baking and just having a shaker at the table. It tastes great. A bag usually lasts us more than a year. I was worried that it would start to lose flavor after a while. I think some of the oils do dry up in my climate (Western US desert). But, they still smell and taste great when we throw some of these sticks in our coffee grinder even a year after we buy them. I do keep them in a sealed jar all the time which probably helps some.I've compared these to some of the store bought sticks locally. These are much better than I can get anywhere around where I live.

Another review said you got around 50 sticks. I did not have the same experience. There was probably closer to 40. We were using these for crafts and they were very thick and short, which unfortunately not was I was looking for. However we did not use these for cooking/baking so I cannot attest to their smell or flavor capacity.

I used these to make Christmas decorations. The sticks are even sized and have a good but not super strong aroma. They worked really well for my project.

I love these cinnamon sticks. They are really nice dropped in a cup of hot apple cider. Ground cinnamon doesn't stir in as well, and floats on the top. Hot apple cider is what I bought it for. I couldn't find these locally. I've seen these used in crafts as well, and might try a couple of crafts with them.

I'm using these as a quit smoking aid. For this purpose they are working great. They are the perfect size and don't have an overwhelming cinnamon taste. However, I haven't tired "chewing" on any other cinnamon sticks to compare taste.
