Great replacement. Purchased as my client damaged her keyboard that was on her laptop and I needed a new one for her. Easy to install if you know what you are doing.

I know nothing about the actual keyboard but the keys are the same as my original keyboard on my Dell Inspiron 5502. I was able to carefully unsnap the original silver keys and replace them with the black keys from this keyboard without having to replace the whole keyboard. The process took me about an hour but it was well worth it. I can now see my keys easily. And the backlight still works. I then bought a TPU cover from here... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081F2B8LV?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details If you want clear buy TPU because the clear silicone is not very clear. The cover will keep your keyboard working perfectly for the life of the computer.

The keyboard has dozens of plastic "rivets" that hold it in place to the chassis to permanently join it. It cannot be removed without breaking these and they cannot be replaced or fixed. You need to buy a whole new keyboard and palm rest. This part alone can not be used to replace the keyboard for the Dell Latitude 3510.
