I needed an outdoor watch that was light, resistant to knocks, drops and water and kept good time. I also needed to read the time without glasses. This watch fits the bill. I've worn it in the rain and in the bath; I've dropped it and knocked it over, but it's still serving. It has also passed my eyesight test. The numbers are large enough to read without my glasses. The light-coloured numbers and hands contrast with a dark background, making it easier to read the time. I dislodged the strap pins when the watch caught on my backpack while I was taking it off. I now avoid this problem by not wearing the watch with the strap loose. The watch comes with a Velcro-fastened strap. After less than a year of use, I misplaced the watch because the Velcro weakened and the watch started falling off without warning. I have replaced the strap.
