Very sturdy
£18.98 when purchased but £21.99 at time of review. I was pleased with the size and weight of these. They are cast iron, heavy and strong, which is ideal for heavy applications. I mounted the handles on the back of a heavy garden door and I use them for lifting the door off the hinges when I need better access to the garden. As the door is very weighty the handles needed to be strong and be of sufficient size to give a good hand grip. They meet this need very well. Screws are provided and these are also very good – installation is very straightforward. The price is reasonable for the quality I think, and have worked perfectly in my usage.

Lovely handles for my downstairs toilet door. Nice and chunky .

Aid to opening garage door
Manually opening an up-and-over garage door from outside involves a push-in at the top, followed by a knock on the shins from the lower edge. To avoid this, I fixed the handle to the lower part of the door, so that it can now be lifted out and upwards without any more bruising. To fix the handle to the door needs a little DIY. 1) Marking and drilling 2 holes. 2a) Either using a bolt, washer and nut (not supplied). 2b) Or screwing (screws supplied) to a small block of wood (not supplied), held on the inside. The handle is made from metal, is strong and should last a long time.

no longer do I need to leave someone inside the shed to push the door shut. wondrous invention.

Very sturdy
Not much to say about these: I have a sliding wooden door on the back of my garage and the handle that the builder had fitted was somewhat flimsy. Changed it for this (I actually only needed one) and have to say I am very impressed. Screws supplied that didn't thread for once and handle is good to grip and strong enough for the door.
