Good fit, but the material is not as soft as I wanted. The pattern is nice as well.

I'll have to give it to the manufacturer, the cut of these boxers is pretty great. They fit well and the extra fabric on the sides really does make these comfortable. When I opened the package they looked huge (I wear a large) but they fit nicely. The waistband is stretchy but firm and stays in place. To be honest, I could really care less what these look like if they fit well. That being said, blue is a good color and they look a bit patriotic. There is a button fly but I never use them. Here's the part I'm not crazy about. They are not soft, like not at all. They've been washed a few times and that hasn't really softened them up much. They are light and 100% cotton so they did shrink a bit, but they were roomy to start so it's still fine. The stitching appears tight on the seams and look well constructed. I wish I could give these 5 stars but they've got to be softer. Maybe after 10 more washes, I'll just keep throwing them in the laundry until I get the result I want.

They are the only boxers I will buy I like them a lot

This pair of 100 percent breathable cotton boxer shorts is made from tightly woven fabric that does not expand like synthetic blends or jersey knits, instead it is similar to material used in button front sports and dress shirts. The male in residence did not find them stiff or scratchy and was impressed with the silky feeling elastic waistband, usually a trouble area that can cause irritation for him, but not the case with these boxers. The fabric care symbols on the garment tag indicate wash in warm water with like colors and use only non-chlorine bleach, as needed. Tumble dry on low and use medium iron if desired. I measured before and after laundering and shrinkage was slight, just 1/2 inch in the waist with the length and width otherwise unchanged. And if removed promptly from the dryer, wrinkling was minimal. The navy background with the Hilfiger logo is handsome. The 2 1/2 inch side vents at the leg opening add comfort when in motion. The seams have a flat felled finish so there is no raw edge to scratch skin and help the garment survive frequent laundering. The fly has a single button closure. The sewing is skillfully done throughout. Very well made pair of cotton boxers.

I chose these for my husband who sleeps hot yet wants to wear something when we are RVing ( in case he needs to get up suddenly). He loves these. The fit is excellent. They dry very quickly on the line, especially for cotton. He likes the length and the fact that the fly does not gap. The waistband is comfortable and wide enough that there is no bite. He finds woven boxers cooler than the knit kind. I'm the fabric hound and these have a nice close weave. The result is a tighter finish than more open weaves or a knit. This is a very comfortable and cool boxer or short. These are nicer than expected, very pleased.
