## Description

STA- BIL Fogging Oil is an aerosol propelled oil treatment to protect internal engine components during storage. This fogging oil can be sprayed to coat internal engine components and prevent corrosion. Formulated to displace moisture from metal to protect engine, this product also lubricates the cylinder's walls, pistons and rings to prevent damage (scuffing) during start-up after prolonged engine storage. It is used in all two and four cycle gasoline engines. The STA-BIL Fogging Oil comes in a convenient 12 ounce aerosol can with Flip up sprayer to direct oil in tight passages or through spark plug holes in head and cylinder. Best practice is to spray in the combustion chamber before storage. While an engine is idle and not running for some time the oil sits in the oil pan no longer lubricating and coating the internal parts of the engine. STA-BIL fogging oil clings to the insides of the combustion chamber keeping it corrosion free and ready for start up. STA-BIL is proudly made in the USA.

Review: Worked for prep to turn over an old engine - I used this on a 327 engine that had been sitting for over 20 years. Before using the fogging oil, I sprayed liquid wrench into the cylinders and let it sit for a few days. I followed with fogging oil each weekend for about 2 weeks. I was then able to turn the engine by hand without resistance using a breaker bar. Overall, this met my goal. Tip, If you have trouble getting into the spark plug holes due to headers in the way, you can use small diameter fuel line from a weed eater or other small plastic tubing attached to the fogging oil spray nozzle tube to feed the oil directly into the engine. A flexible plastic line is much easier to maneuver into a tight space, vs the fixed stick tube the can comes with.

A: I use this on my boat motor 90 hp--kicker motor 5.5 hp--lawn tractor--snowblower and more. Great product

**Q: Can you use this on rusty hatch lift support struts?**
A: This product is designed for internal components mostly. In this case, I'd recommend STA-BIL Rust Stopper. Thanks for the question!

**Q: Can this be used on fuel injection vehicles**
A: All I can say it is like starter fluid, but it has some oil in it to protect cylinders, I use it just like starter fluid, and it is supposed to be used in Jetski cylinders when you are going to store for Winter.
