Used this product to protect plastic ferrule on a golf club when removing a club head. To remove a club head you have to use a propane torch which gets incredibly hot especially since it’s right up against a plastic ferrule. Plastic ferrules can be kind of expensive so if you can pull a head without damaging the ferrule you’ll save to cost. This product works!

Bought this gel for welding, want to try welding something on plastic surface due some limitations of the required shape, and and I was amazed by the heat absorbing ability it's just was Wow!!! I been able to weld metal pieces without damaging or melting the plastic underneath!!!
