Say you're using a lens with a 77mm filter size. Get a step-up ring that is at least 77mm- 85mm. Cut a circular piece of the filter sheet to fit the larger part of the step-up ring, in the case of the example, 85 mm (doesn't have to be exact!). Put a few drops of super glue on the "shelf" of the step-up ring, and glue the cutout onto the shelf, being very careful to not touch the film with your fingers (this stuff is a grease magnet! I use cotton gloves whenever I want to handle it.) Now, you can screw the filter you just created onto your lens just like any other filter! **Q: You have 2 pics as an example, orange looking sun and a red looking sun. Which one is it when viewing?** A: It can actually be either, depending on sky conditions, time of day, etc. Even by eye, sun may appear deep orange at dawn or dusk, but almost white at midday.
