Easy to assemble and works perfect for my car. Very happy with my purchase

I didn't know what to expect after reading the reviews on this and as one guy had said there is a slight difference in the alignment of the factory cut key and the uncut one that comes with it and that makes it difficult to insert the holding pin that keeps the key in place but what I figured out was that if I used the original holding pin that was in my factory key fob it was much easier to fit back into place and it work so well that I purchased a second one to replace my other key fob with so in short it will work using all of the factory guts,key,and pin hope this helps someone dealing with this because thoses factory replacement key fobs are expensive

The actual metal key piece broke off in my ignition when turning off my car yesterday afternoon. I was able to get it out but my key of course no longer worked. I found this replacement and ordered it around 3pm after not being able to locate my spare and my car essentially stranded in a friend’s driveway. It arrived quickly this afternoon and after some struggle opening my old fob, I swapped out the electronic chip from the old into the new and took it up my hardware to cut the key. I $21 fix that could’ve cost my $250 if I bought a new key at the dealership. The click of the lock and unlock isn't As clicky as the original but works just fine!

I only bought this product for the spring mechanism in side the fob. Not to put the item down I’m sure it’s a pretty good product so if you’re interested I say take a chance on it. For the money it seems pretty good but that’s my opinion.

This is only missing the part where you can see the light on the key fob when you star the truck from the key fob
