Helium DLX Softside Expandable Luggage with 2 Wheels, Black, Carry on 21 Inch

I bought this suitcase mainly for the wheels (two encased wheels, instead of four sticking out, which usually break after a couple of trips), and I have not been disappointed. It is light and spacious, complies with most airlines requirements for carry-on baggage and, being black, looks smaller. My previous carry one was a red one and, despite being the exact same size, I was constantly getting stopped and asked to fit it in the metal thingy they have at the departure gate to make sure it has the right measurements.

Older model was better, but this is still a good deal.

This carry on is lightweight and roomy. I picked this model with just 2 wheels because it is more compact than the 4 wheels. It has large capacity and I no longer need checking my bags.

This suitcase has more room than a suitcase with spinner wheels going to Europe and we only want carry on size enough room for everything. The suitcase is sturdy and nice quality not cheap in my option and we travel a lot.

Easy rolling Bag. Very lightweight. Needs an extra side and or rear zip up pocket.

The bag is decent enough, with a good size. However, it is missing an essential feature -- a bottom grab handle! How can a modern carry-on that costs ~$120 not have a bottom grab handle? This is an unfortunate oversight. And the description of the bag says that it DOES have such a handle. I was quite disappointed, and filed for a return the same day the item arrived.

So far I have taken it on a couple travel trips and very happy with it.

Not a cheap carry-on - but much higher-quality materials and build-quality, than so many of those "cheaper" alternatives. Note this is the two-wheel design (hard to find nowadays) - and is perfect for my needs (i.e. it doesn't waste the "space" to incorporate the 4-spnner-wheels on alternates. The wheels run on great-quality bearings (smooooth), and the two wheels are mostly protected, so not susceptible to get "broken-off" as happens (so often) on spinner versions (say, if it ever has to go "checked" when those pesky o-head bins are all "full" already) . The sizing maximizes available space for your items, but complies with many/most of the North-American and European carry-on sizing dimensions. (sizing is exactly as advertised, (sadly, the different airline requirements do vary - so pay attention). Design is expandable (via a zipper), meaning that it can/will exceed the (9") depth limit, if you decide/need to over stuff-it.

Negatives first: This is light duty carry on. Lacks structure on the sides. Anything sharp will easily pierce through its sides specifically if you have it checked (which happens quite a lot with airlines). Two handles are made out of fabric and thin cloth, they wont last specifically if you need to walk distances with your luggage. Zippers are no-name zippers. The positives: The fabric, the wheels and the top telescopic handle are of good quality does not worth the full price for sure. Overall, it's is below average carry on luggage.
