The Storybook Bible is an enlightening, engaging, funny, clever, and beautiful retelling of the story of the Bible in bite-sized, art-filled chunks. What stands out at first look is the amazing artwork. The cohesive style by Don Clark is really something else. You could just page through this book without even reading the stories and be built up. However, upon reading, you realize the playful yet profound art of the words as well. There are jokes and wordplay in these retelling of key Bible stories, but also a really good grasp of the through line of theology. The prayers at the end of the each story often then connect the story to Jesus and our faith. A note on the theological bias: there is a representational and non-sacramental view displayed in the accounts involving baptism and the Lord’s Supper, for my Lutheran, Anglican, Catholic, Calvinist, and Orthodox friends. Overall, though, there isn’t any other spin here besides Christocentricity that I’ve seen so far.

The Biggest Story Bible has been such a gift for me as a busy mom! The stories are beautifully written and easy to understand, making it simple to share God’s Word with my baby while also filling my own heart. The illustrations are stunning — colorful and engaging without being overly graphic, even in the “scarier” parts of the Bible. They stay true to the reality of Scripture in a way that’s honest but still age-appropriate. It’s the perfect way to stay connected to Scripture as a mom while introducing my little one to God’s story from the very beginning. Truly a beautiful resource for any family! Also without the sleeve it is very stunning!

This is our families favorite story Bible. We have kids of all ages and this has been the absolute best. We love how beautiful it is for one but we also love how the stories are told and how each story points back to scripture and additional reading, which we utilize for our older children. This is truly our favorite family Bible!

My 8 year old loves this! We are not a religious family, but my 8 year old has been asking a lot of questions about the Bible and God. I want to embrace whatever belief system she forms and answer any questions she has along the way to the best of my ability. This storybook is a perfect and age appropriate way to explain the stories of the Bible to her in a way she understands. It’s written in a style that adds wit and engages the reader. This is our nightly bedtime story. Bonus points for the bold colored pages and beautiful illustrations.

High quality paper and beautiful cover and illustrations. My 5 year old keeps thanking me for gifting it for Christmas. We’re both very excited to make this part our bedtime routine.

I absolutely love this book. It is great for children but also for adults who are having difficulty reading The Bible. The stories are exciting and easy to understand. I bought the first one for two of my great. Grandchildren. Liked it so much I bought two more for more grandchildren.

It's a fun book to read for all ages. Artwork is also beautiful and intriguing. I love the cover design very much! I bought this book as a bed time story book for many reasons (reading for kids, pet, and staying away from the cell phone), and I am glad that I did. The material is very think and maybe I can write something if I want to. Highly recommend!

The book cover design and pattern are excellent. The illustrations inside are colorful and well-composed, without being tiring to the eyes. I believe it deserves a higher price. Kudos to the illustrator for doing a great job!

Es un libro muy bonito visualmente. Una buena forma de acercarse a la biblia de manera más atractiva y concisa. No está hecha para sustituirla, eso sí. Pero para quién quiere enseñarla a los niños, disfrutar de las ilustraciones, dar un repaso general o acercarse con calma está muy bien.

Our family and church absolutely loves this Bible. It has stunning artwork, clear explanations but what impressed me the most is that they include book of the bible you don't typically see in kids bibles - and always connecting EVERYTHING to our Saviour and Lord Jesus! It is so well written and it makes daily devotions with your family exciting! Best purchase EVER.
