This item is cheap insurance, that is cheaper than a repair or broken AD200 flash. It fits well (AD 200 Pro II), and has good resilient silicone bumper that appears thicker than competitive "skins" and (side benefit) looks like something medieval when fitted on the flash. An absolute neccessity for any AD200! Protects from impact and doubles as a floor stading setup, also the cutouts allow full access to all controls and doesn't block any IR functionality.

I had the protector that slid over the flash but it made it so you had to take it off if you wanted to put the flash in it's case and it was hard to remove the protector from the flash. This one is EASY to slide on and off. It also lets you sit the flash so it fires straight up. Perfect for lighting a background. I have heard how easy it was to crack the screen on the AD200 if you accidentally drop it or knock on over while it is on a stand. This helps you protect the screen of your flash from accidental damage. A must have if you have a Godox AD200 or AD200pro

It does what it says on the tin (so to speak).

For those of you ,like me, unable to find protection for the original, non-pro AD200, This fender fits perfectly well and seems to provide the same level of protection. The power switch is slightly obscured, but is still easy enough to operate. The battery can be accessed if you slide the fender back a little, but it’s just as easy to pop it off on the rare occasion you have to swap the battery. Screen and controls are perfectly accessible as are the 1/4” mounting points. The micro USB is partially obscured, but you could take a sharp knife to the fender if you needed in situ access to this. The fender is a secure fit and looks like it would provide a good amount of protection if your stand topples. It also works great as a table stand with the AD200 in the vertical position.
