Ordered it at 11pm last night and got it at 6am today. God I love living right by the Amazon warehouse lol. Anyways, install was super easy, speeds were 6400 which is excellent. To all the people complaining when it's not 7100, stop. That's a theoretical maximum that is tested on computers that are setup to get the fastest drive speeds possible. The PS5 is a different machine and has different speeds ok. Unless you spend twice the price for that Barracuda drive, you aren't Gona get above 7000 ok. For $150, this 2TB drive with heat sink is an excellent value. Also, that TINY difference in speed is only going to make a 10 minute drive-to-drive game transfer take 9.5 minutes instead lol. So you're complaining about nothing. Game speeds will be absolutely unaffected, I promise. Aaaaaanyways, rants aside, this is a good drive. Corsair has been one of my go-to brands for a decade now. Power supplies, keyboards and mice, memory, etc. If I didn't get this I woulda got the Samsung 980 Pro cause I have a few of those too. But this was cheaper and I know Corsair storage is solid. (No pun intended). Most importantly, this drive wit heat sink is sexy looking too. Not that I'll ever see it, but I'll know it's sitting in my PS5, talking to the ladies (or gentlemen!), livin the high life. Oh and how did that last screenshot get in there? What the heck? It's not like I'm bragging about my recent platinum of Crisis Corey Reunion or anything... 😁

Easy to install and works with no issues after a few months a solid buy since I clip a lot of my games for content.

Like literally every ps5 owner, I ran out of space on my ssd very quickly. Between the ssd being utilized for ps5 functionality as well as the large size of games, I ran out of the 1 tb space after like 4 or 5 games (I also have a portable hdd for all of my ps4 games). I was tired of deleting games in order to free up space, so I decided to add an additional 2 tb of storage. The install for the ssd was soooooooo simple! I checked out a YouTube video and had it installed in like 10 minutes or less. I don’t know much at all about the technical aspects of the ssd, but it runs fast and I haven’t had any issues with it whatsoever. I currently sent all my games for ps5 to the additional storage and still have plenty of room to go. I did my research on ps5 ssd and this one came highly recommended. Super easy install, additional space for games, and works great all for a pretty reasonable price!

I just received my Corsair MP600 PRO LPX today and the packaging was done very well. Simple but quality secure of the ssd. I then begin to take off the faceplate (disc side up) and used a small phillip screwdriver to open the ssd slot. Once inside, I unscrewed the screw that's in place of the "100" spot and removed the spacer ring as well. You have to put the spacer ring down to the "80" spot 1st. Once you do that, you gently slide the Corsair MP600 PRO LPX into the slot (you will hear a click to let you know its installed properly). 3rd, put the screw you took from the "100" spot and screw down the ssd into the "80" spot (it will line up automatically if you installed it correctly, very simple to do). Once you do that, just replace your faceplates and this is where the fun begins! Once u turn on your PS5, you will be prompted to format the ssd. Click format. BAMM! your done! Go to your storage and download a Call of Duty Cold War game (or a huge game) and you won't believe your eyes. It took less than 1minute and a half to download almost 200GB!!! My mind began to go into denial. This was beyond unreal to see this happening! This Corsair MP600 PRO LPX has undervalued itself because the read speeds were way beyond what is being advertised! It literally clocks in at 6800MB/s! Plz, if you ever wanted to do something right for yourself for once in your life, I beg all of you to buy this Corsair MP600 PRO LPX. Not only will you be blown away from the read speeds and download speeds of your games, when you actually play your games, there will be absolutely no loading on any game you play. Its literally instantaneous throughout your gaming sessions! 0 loading! ZERO LOADING!!! Last but not least, the ssd has a lowprofile built-in heatsink and it will stay very cool while gaming for hours on end. It will not hot throttle either because of the high end NAN TECH that's built into this little super giant of a ssd. My mind is blown beyond anything I could ever imagine and Corsair has made a me a believer in their products, quality, pricing and warranty. YES, you also get a 5 year protection warranty of the product. This will be the best ssd you ever bought for your PS5 and you will thank yourself later for listening to a tech enthusiast such as myself. This Corsair MP600 PRO LPX M.2 hard drive meets the specs required for additional internal PS5 storage. Given how the install size of PS5 games gets larger and larger, a 2TB unit might be a wiser purchase if you have a large library of games. Installing it is pretty easy, and the PS5 recognizes the extra hard-drive and formats it pretty quickly. Playing games off this drive compared to the built-in drive in the PS5 didn't show any noticeable differences in performance.
