I wish I knew about this earlier! I've been saving and using old pickle and salsa jars to pour and dump my use cooking oil. This is so much easier! I no longer have to worry about spilling oil, there's no smell, and it is so easy to just scrape into the trash. The amount that you have to use is so little, so I will be able to use the bag many more times. You will know once it is ready to scrape and toss because it turns to an opaque white color, and becomes solid. It's not sticky or greasy, just scrape it out and toss! The seller even reached out with tips on how to use it safely and properly! Highly recommend!

I really like this product and does a nice job of solidifying grease so you don’t need the messy job of pouring it into another receptacle risking spills or leaks. The one caveat is that it implies the solidified grease “slides” out of the pan. I have never had this happen and I have use a spatula to scrape it out the pan. Clean up is still easier but it requires a little work.

I was skeptical that this would work well, but it's my new favorite 'gadget' for the kitchen. I had a pan full of grease (from deep frying egg rolls). I normally try and find cans or jars to put it in and it's still messy and kind of a pain in the okole. And I of course don't want to just pour it down the sink. But once the oil cooled down it had totally solidified and was completely easy to get rid of. It took literally ALL the oil out. The pan didn't even look like it had been used. There wasn't even a film left.

Makes cleaning up after a corned beef a breeze. Add this to the remaining liquid per instructions and, once cool, the oily fat is easily removed and thrown away. Remaining liquid is safe to pour down the drain.
