I was expecting a little more from this radio, but it doesnt perform nearly as well as my 30 year old Panasonic portable. Sound is ok, it does get pretty loud, but the volume control is hard to adjust, just a tiny turn and the sound is blasting loud. FM reception is average and clear, on AM there is a lot of background crackling, as if there is an electrical storm in the area. Tuning is just average, not super precise. Unable to pick up a lot of stations on the shortwave bands either. The built in battery is already holding less of a charge, and there are no indicators to show if it is charging when plugged in. Included instructions are not good either. But, all in all, as a little knock around radio that is small and easy to carry around, with good loud volume , its decent.

This measures about 6" wide by about 4.4" tall and performs rather well. I use rechargeable D cell batteries and use this as a hand held portable. It does have a built in 1800 mAh battery but needs to be connected to wall power for those to charge. I have poor hearing but have no trouble at all hearing this radio, the audio quality is that good. The audio is not super hi-fi but is pleasant to listen to and has plenty of volume. The carry handle appears to be faux leather on a flat web belt material. I like it. It does have a metal grill over the speaker and a hard plastic case. Important for me, I listen to some weaker AM and FM stations. This performs almost as well as a $150 Japanese radio that I bought 10 years ago. The tuning is just like the old radios except that the low end of the bands are on the right side of the dial. You will need to learn how to move the tuning dial back and forth a little in order to get the best signal reception, retro. The SW reception depends on time of day and the ionosphere. You may not hear anything without a wire antenna connected. All in all, I really like this little radio.

Radio worked well while it lasted. Did not make it a full year with VERY occasional use, making a purchase of this item more like a short term rental. Disappointed to have to purchase another radio so soon. Would not recommend

Impressed by the sound quality of this Transistor Radio and further the reception functionality and ability to tune in channels even in enclosed areas. To add, the quality function of in- built battery to keep it going with connecting to power.

Ho acquistato questa radiolina portatile per il compleanno di mia madre, volevo una radiolina portatile facile da usare, ma che allo stesso tempo non avesse un altoparlante piccolo e poco performante che gracchiasse a volumi più consistenti. Nonostante le piccole dimensioni sono rimasto molto sorpreso dal volume della radio, sia le voci che la musica hanno un suono molto ben definito e abbastanza "corposo". PRO:  Facilita di utilizzo  Durata della batteria interna (con una singola ricarica va avanti per giorni tenendola accesa diverse ore al giorno) Ottima ricezione leggerezza Comoda maniglia per il trasporto Ampia manopola per la ricerca delle stazioni radio Accensione e spegnimento integrate nella manopola (più piccola) della regolazione del volume Jack da 3.5 per le cuffie esterne Vano per batterie (usa e getta oppure ricaricabili) in caso vogliamo portare la radio con noi ma noi, ma non disponiamo di energia elettrica per ricaricarla, possiamo alimentarla a batterie. CONTRO: Nessuna spia che ci avvisi se la batteria è in ricarica oppure se è carica I numeri delle frequenze delle stazioni radio sono un po piccoli, potevano scriverli un po più grandi (lo spazio abbonda) Cavo di alimentazione/ricarica corto Nel complesso, il rapporto prezzo/qualità è decisamente buono, è un ottimo acquisto. Se siete in cerca di una radiolina portatile, senza pretese, ma che allo stesso sia bella da vedere, ma sopratutto da ascoltare allora questo prodotto è l’ideale, è pratica leggere, poco ingombrante, ma riesce a regalarvi ore di pure e sano intrattenimento.
