Great solid product!
I am impressed with this reflector. I had a different one that kept breaking on my. I had the clip replaced and shipped to me and it broke. I glued it and it broke again. I finally gave up and ordered this product. It is very solid and will allow me to place the sax on the stand with the deflector still attached to the bell of the instrument. I can't say enough about how solid this deflector is. I use it to practice in my sound proof studio practice room and also on gigs when I am not "miked" and/or the band is a bit loud. It keeps me from overblowing.

Saved the Day
I recently played (sax) in a 7 pc. band plus 4 vocals, but there was only a single monitor mix. The Saxdeflector got me through it without being in the mix very much.

Great sax sound with this product
Does what it’s intended to do. It’s like playing against the wall. I don’t here the echo and now I know what other people are hearing. Very pleased with this item. Easy to latch on to the sax. Very pleased.

Can hear myself better when I practice
I only give it 3 stars because of the price. Once I saw it, it looks like at most a $10 item to me. It's a small piece of plastic. Someone is making a killing selling these.

Not worth the cost
The price of this product is way out of portion for what you get. A clip and a flimsy piece of plastic should not cost $50.00 USD. I seriously regret the purchase. Save your money and play in front of a wall for the same effect, if not better.

Very good product.
I've purchased them all and this sound deflector is the best of them all. The mechanism that connects the deflector to your horn is well made and allows you to adjust the sound deflecting shield perfectly. Also, allows for a very secure connection to the horn. One thing to keep in mind, the deflator is made of a brittle plastic so one needs to be careful not to drop it or bang it as the connection point is a small tab of plastic. Works great though.

A Helpful Hinderance
I met a sax player from Chicago a few years ago who had one of these at a jam night and I thought it would be a good idea; and it is, especially if you are in a quiet room, like a church or concert hall . A typical bar gig is so noisy with amps, P/A, floor wedge monitors drums, guitars etc. this becomes useless, but it looks to be sturdy enough to stay in my kit for that time it will be needed. I used it along with my wireless mic for a couple of tunes while walking around the bar audience table area but trying to be around bar patrons is not a good idea, and it was not designed for that. It helped me find my ears in the room a little quicker when the room was empty. I think I would love it for an acoustical outdoor group performance.
