Wonderful little handy product!
Purchased for my 15yr old grandson. He absolutely LOVED it!! He was genuinely surprised by it's quality too, bc he had only seen the wire ones that come in those survival kits. Needless to say, he was impressed off the bat! He went looking for a reason to use it.. which didn't take him long at Titis (me) house, haha. (he's a hard working, outdoorsman, survival, bushcraft kinda guy so he enjoys this stuff) He instantly went outback to find something to cut down.. & found some branches & trees (approx. 2-8in thick) and he had NO issue. He said that this was EXTREMELY sharp (especially considering price & product being basic.) So it definitely didn't need to be sharpened out of the box like some do... and even after cutting down a few 6-8in thick trees it was still going strong!! He went after the thick 1-3in stuff and still took it all out, no problem! And what little I know about this stuff... I was impressed at how fast he was able to cut stuff down with this! Now clearly it's no gas powered chainsaw, but this lil guy gets the job done AND it's MUCH MUCH safer!!! As a 30 year veteran Operating Room RN, I have seen some very awful, brutal chainsaw accidents in my days (even on professional loggers) so I have always been so terrified of my lil guy logging, because even seasoned veterans have major accidents, and it happens in a SPLIT millisecond!!! So as a grandmother, I was very happy to see this product existed! AND even happier that he loves it. So overall this lil pocket chainsaw is actually lightweight, & it really does fit in a pocket, haha. Overall a wonderful product, and is definitely worth every single penny! (Even though it didnt cost much at all.. so it's totally worth it!) [PS: he's been using it daily - and it's still going strong! He sharpens it & keeps it clean, so it'll last longer. Very durable lil thing.] (P.S.S) - As an elderly woman, I am truly recommending this product myself now to any & all of my fellow seasoned souls who can't really run a chainsaw, (or even the handheld ones), this bad boy came in VERY handy for me!! I had some tough, prickly brush that comes back every year on side of my house, and my neighbor (who is also a single, yet sprung, senior friend) & I take turns cutting it down each year.. well, this year I got a headstart on it with this handy lil thing. Now I've had a knee replacement & shoulder replacement, & my hip and back aren't what they used to be, so I have troubles sometimes with my yards upkeep occasionally, and this tool has made my day!!!! I was able to saw down the crappy, thick tree/brush all on my own. I have always been a very independent woman, and I enjoy when I'm still able to be.. even though getting older makes that harder, this handy dandy tool has made it to my list of MUST HAVES for yard work. And when my friend *saw* ;) me going to town on that crap, she was impressed!! So I am going to get her one for a gift now, and order myself my own so my grandson can take his back home with him. I'M TELLING YA EVERYONE - GREAT PRODUCT! It's a must have for anyone who has to do tough landscaping/yard work.. much easier and safer then the big noisy ones, too. Gotta get yourselves one.

Hand Saw for Kids
I bought two of these for my boys. They were wanting "hand saws" to cut down trees in the woods. Well they are not old enough for anything fancier than these, but let me tell you...they have cut down some trees! Of course, nothing of any size, but they are clearing paths for themselves and I don't have to worry "too much" about them hurting themselves. Fun little hand saws, good quality at a good price.

Great for small jobs
This tiny tool is great for small jobs. We needed to cut down a small tree that sprouted up in our bushes. The trunk was about an inch in diameter and, because the roots were deep, we had not had any luck pulling it from the ground. This little saw made quick work getting it down. The teeth have to be facing correctly and it catches occasionally but still quick and easy to use.

It works
This works as it should. The fabric loop handles aren't too stiff, the chain is a good length, I really like the carry pouch it comes in, and it's incredibly lightweight so if it's part of your camping kit it won't weigh you down

In for the emergency go bag small enough carry
Have the folding say in the go to bag but thought might not be a bad idea to have one these as well

Great gift for the outdoor type
We got this for my brother-in-law for Christmas as he’s an avid outdoorsman. He loves it! He’s constantly hiking and in the woods so it’s nice to have on hand. It’s compact so it doesn’t take a ton of space in his backpack but also gets the job done and quickly.

Cuts surprisingly well, but something needs to be improved in the handles
Remembering those silly little wire saws with thumb hole rings that only cub scouts who weren't allowed near sharp objects would buy, I had very low expectations for this but for the low price decided to try it out. Takes just a minute to get your speed and amount of pressure ideal, but once you do you can clean cut an 8" diameter dead limb in 90 seconds. It is a chainsaw chain, so will make chips fly just like a chainsaw if you can keep up the motion. However, the straps that go around your hand will also seriously dig into your skin. Tried it again with gloves and that helps, but you will eventually have to stop using the saw and not because you are tired, but because that nylon webbing is cutting as deep into your hand as the saw is to the wood. If this came with a rigid T-handle or you install your own PVC pipe over the strap that would change everything. But then it won't pack up into such a small pouch. Right now it hangs off your belt with no more bulk or weight than carrying a pair of steel handcuffs. With proper handles it would be much bulkier, but without you probably won't spend much time cutting wood.

Did its job!
Had a tall tree stump between two fences I needed to cut down, slid it down behind the stump and fed the handles through the chain link. Not quick, but did the job!

Worked great to take some tree limbs that were very high up. Just attached a rope and a weight, threw it up over the limb and sawed it down!

La scie ne permet pas de couper des branches faisant plus de 5cm de diamètre. Les dents sont beaucoup trop espacées et la chaîne s'emmêlent constamment.

Rope handle is sturdy. Chain links move smoothly and without issue. They seem pre-oiled. Exerted strength on the chain links, and they held. So at least, they don’t seem fragile. Cutting teeth are attached, as per description. Seems fine, but I did not actually tried cutting wood with it yet.
