We love anime and of course all the food we see looks so cute. Imrhis book is great. Easy to follow recipes, sturdy book, great cover art.

I approach this book from a few perspectives: amateur baker, passionate foodie, lifelong anime fan, and also someone who previously lived and worked in Japan. This book is the real deal! The range of recipes extends from Japanese classics like Dango and Nerikiri, to "European" sweets like Caneles and Macarons (which may seem out of place, but are very popular in Japan and frequently seen in anime). The directions and explanations are written to be accessible for even beginners, but the difficulty in recipes range from true novices to some truly technical stuff for the more ambitious souls, meaning that there is something for everyone in this book. Of course, every recipe is introduced with an explanation of its cultural origin, anime or otherwise, which brings a sense of cohesion to the whole affair. The cherry on top of this delicious dessert is the presentation: clean, colorful, cute, and never sacrifices its integrity as a cookbook for the sake of novelty. The photos of the finished desserts are similarly beautiful, but with plenty of meticulous anime-inspired touches that give this book a strong identity of its own. It is wholly evident that this book is the product of passion and love- for baking, for anime, and for inviting others into your kitchen to share in your hobbies. I can't recommend it enough.

Cute book bought as a gift was liked !

I got this for a gift for A teenage girl and she loved it. It has great recipes and pictures

Was a gift and asked for what they thought. Overall pretty positive. There could have been some more details on some recipes for a novice.

I do not like the fact there is no table of contents in this cookbook. It is divided up into three sections but unless you go to each of these sections you do not know what is in them. If they were to add a table of contents, I would give 5 stars. The recipes are fun and somewhat easy to make. It was a big hit for my daughter who loves anime.

This was a Christmas gift for my mom. We have a shared love for anime and anyone who watches anime knows that it always has food and makes you wonder what it tastes like. It’s has a lot of recipes that we want to try and make. So far I haven’t noticed anything wrong with the book but I won’t know until we try to cook something.

Me parece un libro de recetas bastante completo, tiene índice de los anime en los que se pueden encontrar las recetas, así como un glosario con herramientas e ingredientes a usarse por lo que podemos estar preparados. Es dinámico, tiene muchas imágenes y fácil de seguir. Lo recomiendo.

Que buen libro, si eres fan de la cocina y la asiatica en especial, te encantara. Pero advierto que no es solo un libro de platillos de anime. También vienen recetas típicas. Vale la pena totalmente.
