No more blue bulbs for me. The design if this this is ingenious. The ol' blue bulb has a single stream of water that ends up on your eardrum, and it's hard to get to the sidewalls of the canal. This thing distributes the water towards the sides of the canal very effectively. My ears have been so cocked that I couldn't hear and within a day, using this device, they were clear. I took off one star due to the size of the syringe. Still haven't figured out what the medical industry has such an obsession with small the volume syringes. This is only 25mm. So plan on refilling it several times to get a thorough flush. To refill it you either pull out the plunge or take off the colored tip and draw water in that way. That got to be a huge pain. Also, being so small, one has a tendency to pull push hard, creating a strong stream of water which can irritate the canal. Also, such force can cause the tip to come off in your ear so be careful. I paired the tips with a 60mm plus irrigation syringe and can get a great flushing on one fill. Would I buy it again? Sure, but with 3 tips I won't have to. The blue bulb has gone bye-bye.

Item works very well

It works better without the tips attached- they don’t allow adequate pressure needed to flush the wax properly. That said, just go to the drug store and pick up a cheaper syringe- would work just as well. Just make sure you’re using something prior to break up the wax, like 1mL of peroxide. Flush as hard and as fast as you can and it works well.

Works as good as the doctor's office. I'd use an ear wax softener for four days and then this. It's safe to use with exit holes that lead the water to the sides of your ear canals and not directly into the canal. This has never failed me and I suffer from extreme wax issues, unfortunately.

Happy customer!! It all started a few years ago after swimming, I couldn’t hear and ended up being wax build up. I was able to eventually clear with Debrox solution. I swore never to go back to cotton swabs again but…. So the other night when showering, I got some water in my ear and couldn’t hear, I just knew it was the wax build up again. I still had some Debrox left over so I decided to clean both ears out. Well what I ended up doing was loosening the wax in the other ear just enough to clog it up. After spending most of yesterday trying Debrox and straight peroxide, to no avail I decided to order this kit which said it would arrive today. I kinda just dealt with it the rest of the day, tried a bit last night before bed trying to soak it with peroxide and digging it out. It was only making the cotton swabs yellow and very little coming out, I gave up and went to bed. Today around lunch the sweet amazing Amazon driver shows up with this miracle of a device. I immediately tried it, I knew from the reviews here not to expect much from the first few squirts. But on the 3rd or 4th squirt it dislodged a nice sized chunk of wax and my hearing instantly returned to normal! I squirted a few more times in that ear and then tried the original ear just for good measure. I am now hearing better than I have in a long time ! As someone who grew up using cotton swabs, I will now use this once a week to clean my ears out instead! Definitely worth trying if you’re frustrated with a clogged ear!
