The zipper’s are made with good quality and the 5 point retention system keeps the bag tight and compressed. So far, I would like some sort of VELCRO or ELASTIC band around each of straps. Where the bag's quality really falls apart is the sewing construction. In an effort to save on material, the inside hemming width isn't sufficient enough to ensure that the inevitable fraying of fabric doesn't compromise the seam. Indeed, within a month of owning the pack (with incredibly light usage) the top pouch corner popped where the seam's fabric had unraveled to such degree that the thread no longer had fabric to hold on to. This is clearly yet another case of an inferior Chinese counterfeit product knocking off a superior USA made product and selling at a lower price to undercut the USA.
