I've had great luck with Ninja products in the past and I wanted an electric kettle that would give me exact control over the temperature of the water. I don't drink coffee, but have tea occasionally. I got this because I needed warm water for bread making. 115 degree water to be specific. I did the microwave water warming and it was either too high or too low. If the water is too hot, it will kill the yeast. With this kettle, I get the right temperature every time. It has worked fantastic every time I use it. This electric kettle is easy to operate, with intuitive controls. It heats quickly and has made bread making much easier and allows me to focus on other task while it reaches the required temperature. There are probably cheaper competitor models that do the same thing, but at the time I found this, it was what I needed exactly the way I needed it. Plus it is a quality product. I got a good one. I also got a discount when I purchased it, so I am happy, regardless of the price. If you need your tea water at a precise temperature, this kettle will do it.
