Ampersand Art Supply Wood Painting Panel: Museum Series Claybord, 9"x12", 1/8 Inch Depth

Arrived quickly and in a thin bubble envelope but it was damaged. For the price, which I do not think was cheap, this was not good. I can not now use it for an art project and will look elsewhere. Very disappointing.

Ampersand Clayboard is innovative, high-quality artist's painting surface, specially for mixed media. Can't wait to try it. Unfortunately, it's hard to get by in EU, so I ordered from US, Hyatt's Graphics Supplies. Fortunately, in fact. It took some time to arrive to Croatia (bit less then a month), but is was superbly packed and everything arrived in pristine condition. Price was also very acceptable. I would recommend Hyatt's to everyone, even if you're ordering from a greater distance from US.

Claybord is a versatile gold-standard surface, and such a pleasure to create on. I have used Claybord and Gessobord products for years. They are the best available and museum quality.

I purchased this to practice my water color painting on. I got the impression that it would rinse off easily to be used again, it was suggested in an art book that I was reading. It will rinse, but you have to rub at it quite a bit. I may have left the paint on too long though. Other than that, I think it is nice to paint on.
