Originally I planned to only have it out during the spring/summer months, but it was such a pretty spot of color in my yard that I decided to leave it out year-round. For 2 years it has been outside in temps from below zero to high 90s. It has been outside in snow, hail, freezing rain, thunderstorms and high winds with gusts up to 65 m.p.h During the summer months it is in the blazing hot sun for most of the day. It still looks as good as the day I stuck it in the ground. And the ground stakes and pole it is on are very sturdy. I have not touched it since I put it in my yard, and the stakes/pole has not budged. I have bought a lot of metal yard decorations over the years, and they all fade in color after a couple of summers outside. Not this one. The colors are still bright and vibrant. And it still spins as easily as it did when I first bought it. I am so happy with this purchase, and the longevity of it, that I highly recommend it. My picture does not even begin to do it justice.
