These skimmer socks are a game changer!! We have been having problems with very small minute particles that made our water cloudy. They do trap very fine debri sorta like a furnace filter however,some tear after only a day or two but overall work as intended,good idea to check it daily

These socks are such a great value for the price. They are very well made and work to perfection to hold on to all the small particles or pollen and dirt that gets blown in the water woth the wind, helping keep the filters cleaner for longer. Without them we used to have to clean our filters every month and they were ao gross, especially in the spring with the pollen. Now we only clean them 3 times a year and that's just because we want to. They're still not as dirty in 4 months of use as they were in 1 month without the use of the socks.

If you own a pool-these are a must! How did I not know about them sooner!! They filter so much more out than my skimmer basket alone was doing. Best part is that you just slide the debris filled sock off and throw it away! All that Schmutz from the nearby trees is filtered out and no need to get your hand slimy with the debris or having to rinse the skimmer basket.
