Super impressed, actually
I purchased this to put in a suitcase and fly to a beach for two weeks. I bike around with it in a saddlebag too, so it needed to be compact enough for that. While I appreciated that it was small and light enough that I could have slung it across my back on the bike instead of using the saddle bag, it was nearly not suitcase-able. I know it says the size on the description, but still, seeing it in real life was different. I was hoping to taking my smaller suitcase, but I ended up taking the 33" one, and it still took up like a fifth or sixth of the total volume alone. Not ideal, especially when the beach tent I have is like a quarter of the size. It was easy to carry around on the beach, though, even when walking for a bit. That said, it was much easier to setup than the tent, and sturdier? I was honestly surprised. Nearly every day I was there, there wind was definitely blowing, 10-15 mph steady, and the long screw kept the whole thing in place. Proper placement of the umbrella (i.e. into the wind) kept it from flipping inside out, too. Even in such wind, it was super easy to setup and break down by myself. The coverage was also reasonable for two people, though three would have been a stretch.Biggest downside was how short it was with the screw fully installed in the sand. I'm 5'6", and there was no standing under there. If I was going to drive somewhere and needed to carry an umbrella for a ways on the beach, this would be a really good option, especially with a smaller trunk. Or if you're a frequent nearby beach person and want something easy to carry. It does fit in a suitcase, but it had to be a larger one for sure. I would also purchase a "Noblo" with it, or one of those sandbags that ties to the umbrella to keep it from blowing around. Not that I felt like it needed it, but still.

Excellent full size umbrella, sturdy and great for travel
The media could not be loaded. Fantastic full size umbrella that packs down into something light and easy to travel with.Setting up the umbrella is ingenious and easy. You just screw the bottom into the sand/ground. And it’s very sturdy. You put the pole together, snap on the umbrella and open it up.The umbrella handles strong wind, it’s impressive and it provided great shade. It’s to use and enjoyI’d strongly recommend this umbrella.

Not quite 6.5’ but a great beach umbrella
Been using this for a calendar year now including a half dozen trips to the beach. Missed a full star rating because it’s not 6.5’ in diameter. Closer to just under 6’ which means the shade it casts in a full noon sun is not *quite* enough for two adults in beach chairs. No matter how you tilt it, you’ll have a few inches getting scorched by the sun.If you can live with that, this is a great umbrella. I’ve opened it in strong winds and had it turned inside out; it easily flipped back right without damage. We use ours for day trips on a boat and it’s handled being tossed in and out of the boat without any wear. It folds up extremely compactly in a little bag and it’s very lightweight, which was what we wanted for the boat. So far, it’s resisted corrosion and the whole thing seems to be aluminum, however the rivets in the umbrella trusses look like they’re rusting a little so they may be the first to go.The included sand screw is a nice feature; we have several other sand screws that are much easier to screw into sand. This one doesn’t like to dig without a lot of down pressure. The clamps to hold the sections together are plastic but hold together very securely even in strong wind, and don’t require much force to make them do so.Our particular pattern is a rainbow stripe which is very unique and makes it easy to find our spot on busy beaches.I’d buy it again; but I do wish it was just a little bigger.

10/10! Saves us a huge amount of money.
Light weight to carry, fits in my cked bag and easy to secure into the sand AND fits two chairs underneath. It has already paid for itself many times over along with our lightweight folding camp chairs. Used them for Hawaii and Puerto Rico.

This is the one!
If you travel to different beaches often and don't want to worry about finding an available umbrella, this is the beach umbrella for you. I used to waste money on renting umbrellas or buying them only to leave them behind because they didn't fit in my suitcase. That's what I love most about this umbrella—it fits perfectly in my suitcase. It's lightweight and packs up compactly. It comes with a pouch/bag that has a strap for easy transport. I was able to fit my travel beach towel, wallet, phone, and a bottled water inside the carrying bag and head to the beach with ease. Setup took about five minutes, and it was ret-to-go! The umbrella also tilts to provide the coverage you want. This truly is the perfect beach umbrella for travel. Unlike many travel beach umbrellas, when searching that comes up, this is the one that actually fits inside a suitcase!

Broke on 1st use
So disappointed because I was hoping this was the answer to my problems. I bought this in hopes of being able to pack this in my luggage for my trip to Hawaii. My first day, within the two hours of being on the beach, three of spines in the umbrella broke. It was not a windy day, but there was an occasional breeze. I don’t know if it was a defect in this particular umbrella, but I ended up going to Walmart and buying a $20 umbrella that lasted the rest of the week, even though it was only $20, I had to leave it at my condo because it wouldn’t fit in my luggage to bring home.
