My dog had a 2am ER vet visit in august 2022 because his stomach was so jacked up. I truly didn’t think I was coming home with my dog that night, was certain I was saying goodbye to my best friend. He had pancreatitis so bad I didn’t know what was happening and it hit FAST. He went on antibiotics, probiotics and some other meds for an issue not related to his stomach. 10 days of these strong meds and he was back to himself, that is until I put him back on his normal diet. I spent weeks researching this, how to prevent another bout with it and changing his diet to accommodate his new needs. Nothing truly helped. Then it hit me, the probiotics the vet gave him did help, but they are EXPENSIVE and I don’t have pet insurance (don’t qualify) so I went on a new search and found zesty paws, I read reviews for over an hour before I made a purchase. Within two weeks his stool was back to normal consistency and color, he was excited for food again, the itching he had stopped, even issues he had with his eyes that we thought were allergy related stopped. He wasn’t eating grass anymore. All was well again. I won’t say it’s a fool proof solution, we have had some over night issues that I had to fix with bland foods and pumpkin for 24-48 hours. But it’s helped TREMENDOUSLY. I have a hefty boy, a 90 something pound pitbull (yes he’s chunky we’re working on it) he gets two of these every afternoon and one at night before bed (total of 3 a day) I love having the chicken free option (pumpkin) as my Loki is allergic to chicken, he isn’t huge on the flavor but he still eats them, I think he knows they make his tummy feel better. I also love that they have several other “vitamins” for different issues that can be combined together. I paid this with a pricy kibble and he does really well and is his goofy, clumsy, happy self again. Thank you Zesty Paws.

My dog loves these heart probiotics, and I love them because they help his digestive system. Once in a while, he gets human food bites, and to avoid any constipation or tummy bloating, I give him one crumbled-up "heart" treat before bedtime, and he doesn't get tummy ill. These heart bites are tasty, and I know because, as his mom, I always take a bite of his food to make sure it's good and tasty for him.

I absolutely love these Zesty Paws Probiotic Bites, and more importantly, so do my dogs! Ever since I started giving them these pumpkin-flavored chews, I’ve noticed such a big improvement in their digestion, energy, and overall mood. Their stomachs seem so much happier, itchy skin has calmed down, and they’re just more comfortable and playful throughout the day. I really appreciate the quality ingredients and the fact that the chews are easy to give like a treat. It feels great knowing I’m supporting my pups’ gut and immune health with something they genuinely enjoy-this has definitely become a staple in our home!

I tried another brand. My dogs prefer these. I find giving my girls probiotics improves their breath. Also my older baby licks her paws less. - that is the reason I started using them in the first place- so yeah!!!

I have used the zesty paws probiotic for dogs for years with our last pug and with our current pug. What really impressed me was, with our late pug, who was on a number of medications for health issues, including a lot of antibiotics, he would never get diarrhea when on these antibiotics after we started using zesty paws probiotic. I’m sure there are other good things that this product was/is doing with the dogs, but the fact that there was never any diarrhea when on strong antibiotics, really proved to me this product works. Haven’t had to give our current pug any antibiotics, but he still gets one a day anyway!

This has definitely helped my dogs with their bloating. My 9 yr old JRT had the roughest time with gas and a rumbling tummy due to old age. Ever since she started these all the bloating and gas has gone away. I highly recommend getting this product on the canister to protect the form of the gummies rather than the bag cause the bag causes the gummies to crumble.

I'm leaving three stars because my three doggies like them, which I assume means they taste good, because that's the only thing we noticed. This is not a knee-jerk review either. We've purchased these on subscription for months, and they aren't cheap, so we had hoped they would work. Unfortunately, just like everything else, they don't work. There's this whole marketing scheme going on now that probiotics are the miracle cure to your dog's itching and allergies, that it starts in the gut, and while there may be some truth to that, our half of a year experience is they did absolutely nothing. The brain can convince you a lie is the truth, but eventually reality sets in, and our expectations weren't unrealistic. We hoped for even a mild improvement, but nothing. Our dogs are an English Bully mix, a Pit mix, and a full German Rottie. These did nothing for any of them.

Just started using it so i hope it's good as the advertising claims. My boy eats it as a treat.

That’s the second time I bought this product. My dog was having mushy stool very often despite the right balanced diet, organic meat, other probiotics we gave her etc. Probiotic bites changed that for the best in a very short period of time. And my picky Maltese loves these bites too. Will continue buying them!
