I've been looking for a uke strap to purchase that would combine the stability you get for fretting when tying it to the headstock but without the need to install a strap button. However, such a strap just doesn't exist. I already had a great J-hook/neck strap from Cloud Music with a large, adjustable silicone hook that is soft and doesn't scratch your instrument. So I ordered this Baite brand strap, and using my sewing skills, I removed their small, hard hook and sewed on my Cloud Music hook to combine the two straps. This is the perfect strap now. I still have to be careful of the instrument rolling outward like I would with any other J-hook strap, yet I am thrilled with the results. The only thing I would change is if someone would make their hook in a shade of brown or even clear so it blends into the color of the ukulele better. All in all, I am very pleased with this project.

The string cord that attaches to the head is too short. So it was difficult to attach and tie it. However I managed. It would have been better if that cord was longer. And since you have to tie the end of the strap there, you would have to leave the strap on permanently. I attached a ring and clip on the strap so I can remove it anytime. And it's not a good idea to use it as a neck strap. If you do, you will have to hold on to your ukulele or it will fall off. It's nylon and comfortable enough. As a whole it was worth the price.

Product returned because description indicates it is made with leather, but it is not. It uses vinyl and nylon.

I have a tenor uke and I find it difficult to hold and play properly, so this strap has helped me so much in my uke playing ability. I've used the strap both ways, but I like it better when it is attached to the strap button (which I added). It's a pretty basic black strap that does what it's supposed to do.

I wanted this to use around the waist of my tenor uke and it's a perfect fit. Supports both the body and neck of my uke.
