And if you pay close attention to the highly detailed size chart they provide in the photos, you can really get the perfect fit! I am highly sensitive to smells, and the materials do not have a smell EXCEPT there is a small square of rubber-like material on the very top for calibration. I found that this outgassed in a couple of days, and I was able to work using the hood right away. The hood does what it's supposed to do and keeps the glare off my screen. I also use a free-standing "panel" to shield my peripheral view of the window so I can keep the shades wide open and let the sunshine in! Eye strain is a complex issue that requires a multifaceted approach. I also take eye-supporting supplements, eye drops, and have a special pair of glasses made for the exact distance from my monitor.
