The run is 40 x 60 ft and part of it was already covered with a shade cloth. I needed something to cover the other part. I purchased the 50x50 ft. I wanted something better and stronger than plastic netting. I ran some rope from fence post to post and through out the run for support for the netting. I have to say, I was nervous about putting the netting up as I thought there might be a problem with it wanting to tangle or twist. Me and my wife remove the netting from the box and layed the netting over the ropes and started unfolding as we went. Oh my gosh! It was SO easy and the netting never tangled/twisted. We got it up in no time. PLUS, we had about 5ft extra on the length that we cut off and was able to use in another spot. The netting is not cheap made. It looks like something that will last for a few years and do a great job protecting our chickens from predators. It is as advertised, and it's perfect for our needs. We have it on top of our chicken yard to keep hawks and other daytime opportunistic predators out, and it has already spared our birds at least one attempted hawk attack that I witnessed. The hawk had no chance, and the netting survived undamaged. I would definitely get this netting again.
