Amazingly effective and easy. I love this!
I LOVE this thing. Genius invention!! I have a lot of fine hair and it’s very long, so it’s heavy. Curling it with a hot iron doesn’t last long and between work and family, I just don’t have time. I do prefer to curl my hair for work and special events but struggled to make it work, until this tool!! To use, I wash and mostly dry my hair. When it’s about 85% dry, I put on this headband. It takes about 2 minutes. It was slower the first couple of times I wrapped my hair but it got easy quickly. I watched a video on YouTube (I liked the one by the robe curls gal and also one for this product by a gal who made a clear video) and that was all I needed. With practice, I now know just how to install this so that it doesn’t even bug me when I sleep (I sleep on my back and my side, flipping side to side throughout the night). My hair looks AMAZING when I use this and it lasts for days. Yes the curls relax slowly over the days but they still look great for at least 3 days, usually even some curl left on the fourth day, depending on my workouts and sweating (I use dry shampoo at the roots for days in between washes). I love that I look more put together for work and it takes the stress out of getting ready. Just take out the wand and voila! I don’t use any product generally except a light leave in conditioner spray or cream from Aveda. You will find how tightly to wrap your hair based on your desired look. Get this!

Easy, quick, comfortable, works!
My daughter's pretty, straight hair refuses to hold a heated curl for more than an hour. Aside from a bunch of tiny (time-consuming) braids that give a more retro look, these overnight rollers are the only method we've found to put big, pretty curls in her hair. It takes me less than 2 minutes to twist it up and I'm positive an adult could just as quickly do it on themselves. She said it's comfortable to sleep in and the curls last almost the whole school day.

Adds lots of curls!
I have thin hair that is hard to hold a curl even after a lot of hairspray. I was a bit skeptical about how much curl this heartless rod would provide but gave it a try! My first time rolling each section of hair was a bit tricky but I think after a few attempts and repositioning it’ll be ok. Rolling my hair only took a few minutes. Sleeping with it was a bit uncomfortable as I’m a side sleeper. The next day wow a lot of curls! I had to use my curling iron afterwards to soften up the curls… however next time I would wrap my hair looser to achieve a bigger curl. I’m satisfied with the body it provides. I might get a satin hair cap to wear at night though.

Nice curls!
Worked great! I wish it came with a clip but otherwise it’s a great deal. My hair came out really nice not frizzy. Working with mostly dry hair after a shower. It was also comfortable to sleep in!

If you can get the wrap to stay on, it curls your hair!
I wanted to love this so much since I like Kitch and the original heatless curling rod (smaller size) is my go to. Unfortunately, it’s just too difficult to keep wrapped and uncomfortable to sleep in since it’s so thick. I have thick course hair so it usually wraps around anything nicely and can tolerate a good tug or two but the minute I wrap my hair with this, it unravels and even on the days when it doesn’t magically unravel, the rods thickness causes heaviness that pulls my hair in the wrong spots. I noticed increased breakage around my hairline when using this. On the days I was able to tolerate the tugging and my hair did stay around the rod, the curls did turn out VERY pretty which is why I do give it the 3 stars. I think the main thing is finding a way to keep your hair in place all while avoiding the tugging from how large it is.

For the perfect and easy curls
These heatless curls are a total game-changer. They’re super easy to sleep in and actually comfortable enough to wear all night. I lightly dampen my hair before wrapping it, and by morning it’s dry with perfect curls that last all day. No heat, no damage, no effort. Honestly, it makes this the easiest hair day ever—and I get compliments every single time I use them. Highly recommend!

Effortless to use, great results
SUPER easy to use! Leaves my hair with super nice chair that’s between curly and wavy. Takes minimal effort!

Love this!
The only reason I docked a star is that I feel like this isn't long enough to tie in the back. For a cheap alternative to the Heatless Hair curling ribbon, this is pretty good! I have shoulder length hair and I wasn't sure if it would work or not because I hardly see any reviews on these with people with short hair. Especially people with layers like me! I highly recommend watching the YouTube video by Milabu called "foolproof heatless curls". She will show you how to do this do you get a more textured look. If you want a more wavy look, you can curl all your hair the same direction, but her method makes it pretty (in my opinion) and textured. The thing is, her hair is long and pretty and mine is short. So I ran into the problem of having prices of hair in the back that just didn't curl. What's super important to do, I have come to find out if you have the same kind of haircut as me, make sure you change how the curling ribbon is sitting on your head. Milabu (I don't know her real name, sorry) had the ribbon going from her front hair line to the nape of her neck. It works for her because she has long hair so it doesn't really matter where the curls start for her. But if I just do what she did, I would have non-curled pieces with curly ends, because the hair would be stretched over to the ribbon and would barely be able to wrap around if that makes sense. So instead of going down right towards the nape of my neck, I make sure the ribbon goes a bit more straight back. Now this takes practice. You need the pieces to sit nice and flat and tight onto the ribbon and not bunch up or you won't get as good of results. So as you wrap, make sure the ribbon is held so that it goes a bit more straight back so that it's more parallel to the floor. It won't be perfect and might still slant down, but it's better than putting it on like youd wear a headband. This will help you actually have curliness in the back. Also it will help you have curls at the top instead of having a flat area and then curls. Now I sometimes like to keep the center part like Milabu, but I often like to part it on the side after I take the curls out. I personally feel like that's so pretty and really showcases the curls with beautiful volume on the side. It also helps disguise your part. Also I like to tease it a bit on both sides b cause I swear my head is a triangle. Play around with it! Don't give up on the first try. If you want curls the way I had them, do it the way I suggested. And make sure you do use some sort of anti frizz to help tame it, especially if you have coarser hair like me. Overall I give this specific ribbon an 8/10. I wish it was longer and I wish the wire inside was more impressionable to my head.
