I ordered this wax for making waxed canvas. Each block weighed about one ounce more than a pound, meaning that you are actually getting a little more wax than you paid for, which is always nice. The wax melted very smoothly, and did not smell harsh or like chemicals. It has a fairly firm texture, and is sticky when cut into with a knife. Once applied to canvas, it has a mostly clear, slightly white color. Overall, this wax is very easy to work with, melts smooth, and you do not get shorted what you pay for.

I like it- it works for what I need it. It is pretty soft and malleable but it buffs well. I would buy it again, and depending on what you’re using it for- I would also recommend it.

Perfect wax for shaping. My goal was to make candles that I could easily shape. The microcrystalline wax was perfect for this. I was able to easily bend the wax (no breakage) after it fully dried.
