Bought this as a replacement for a Plastic one I have had for over 20 years. I am still learning how to adjust the cutting edge. That is why I only gave it a 4 Star for ease of use. I'm hopeful that after some practice that will become 5 star and be my GO-TO SLICER.

It's been years since my last mandolin slicer broke. I don't know why it took so long to purchase a new one! Prep work for my meals is much easier now. The blade guard is a nice bonus!, And the gloves that were included are the greatest!

The blade is very sharp. I accidentally sliced off the tip of one of my fingers the first time I used it. I should have been wearing the safety gloves they provide.It works great. It slices quickly and relatively cleanly. It is a pain to clean, though. You have to disassemble it, carefully wash the parts, dry them and then reassemble. This is worth it if you are slicing a large quantity of vegetables, or make a lot of french fries. But if you are just making enough for one person, it's quicker to just use a knife and cutting board.

Very sturdy and great materials but unfortunately the adjustable bottom plate wouldn’t lay flat and destroyed my vegetables. I had to return this item.

This mandolin will allow you to slice a five pound bag of potatoes in five minutes. Blades are sharp and it is very easy to clean and store. Good product 👌

Tengo una mandolina de madera ya con varios años de uso y pensé en reemplazarla con esta más moderna y con más funciones pero NO fue así.. 10 usos 15 cortadas en dedos y manos ya qué al deslizar el producto se queda pegado y no desliza. Peligrosa al manipular. Muy tedioso para hacer la limpieza después del uso. NO ME GUSTÓ PARA NADA
