How long do you have to wait to allow paint to dry and totally cure before using the microwave?

I waited a 48 hours after last coat before using. Kept microwave in a warm dry space to cure.

After spraying the insdie of the cavity of the microwave, was the finished product smooth or rough and gritty like mine?

This product produced good results. Preparation is required. Basically, the surface must be clean and free of debris. Sanding may be necessary to smooth the edges of chipped paint or remove rust. The finish was as smooth as the original enamel.
