Absolutely dandy! We bought it with the 3/8” plates and the 1/2” plates. Easy to assemble. I had trouble pushing the handle down on a large russet potato, but hubby cut the potato in half lengthwise and it was easy to cut. He ended up making a cookie sheet worth of oven fries. He was a happy camper. Easy to clean. Good price. Quality kitchen tool. Highly recommend.

I bought this specifically for sweet potatoes, which the reviews and AI said it works well on. However, very hard to use with a sweet potato. I could only get it to work by cutting the sweet potato into three shorter sections and then microwaving them for one minute. So… it’s better than nothing, but it is definitely not easy to use with a sweet potato ✌️
