Lightweight, fast and easy
This little dryer is very easy to use and works as you’re running your print. It allows you to feed the filament through either of its existing channels and works fast. You can set the temperature range for your own filament and set the time you’d like it to run for. Overall, I recommend this dryer if you have a small printer such as the Bambu Lab A1 or A1 mini. A small drawback is that it’s a bit bulky and you’ll need a bit of space to set it up to effectively work with your printer.

Great beginner filament dryer
Does the job for small home set up. Does one roll at a time but with proper storage your rolls will stay dry after a few hours in this. You can have the roll in this while printing because it does have a hole to feed through but I havent tried it yet.

A bit clunky, some odd design choices, but it safely heats and dries filament
Using this thing is very confusing to start, and there are not clear instructions included. That being said, I figured it out eventually and am pleased with the results. It does have a fan inside, so the air circulates quite well. I leave a reusable silica gel packet inside to help facilitate the drying process. Once turned on, the only way I have found to turn it off is to let the timer run out. You can adjust the temperature and the timer. Theoretically, it has a hydrometer inside, but I'm not convinced that it is accurate. Interestingly, part of why I purchased this dryer instead of Sunlu's more popular model with the screen on the side is because of the forward-facing screen, but in my setup, I would have benefited from the side screen more. since the filament has to bend in strange ways to get to my printer if I want to see the screen. It is a bit noisy, though quieter than my old Ender 3 V2 Neo and my P1S. The frequency at which it operates is the annoying part; it gives me a migraine, and it sits right behind my desk. There are two slots for filament built into the dryer. One on the front top curve of the lid, and one right where the lid meets the body. This second slot has an included plug to keep humidity out, but the plug falls out pretty much every time I open it. More annoyingly, it likes to fall inside of the dryer and has almost fallen into the vent hole many times. Both slots can accommodate a PTFE tube like the spares included with a Bambu AMS. This is necessary for proper operation in my opinion as the slots by themselves are at awkward angles and risk bending or breaking filament/putting unwanted strain on the extruder motor. There are very small PTFE slices (??) included with the dryer that I believe are supposed to fit into those slots to soften their edges, but it doesn't help much. I haven't seen condensation build up inside when I'm drying filament, even without a silica packet, but I have recovered an old roll of PETG and several rolls of PLA, and now printing with TPU is much easier. All of this is to say that it does its job quite effectively, but I wish a company would be more intentional in their design process.

Works well after you figuer out how the buttons work
I live in the south where the summers can be fairly human I noticed a lot of small anomalies on my first layer especially in the summer but they really didn't fear much with the print. This it was small and compact so I thought I'd give it a try. I took one of my Older filament reels and ran it for 6 hours. The next day I used it to produce a print and the first thing I noticed was my first layer was great. So the dryer seems to be working well. I'm great I was going to downgrade it for lack of instructions as there really are none. It has two buttons and no iron off switch. When you plug it in nothing happens until you push a button. The left button seems to change the mode to change the temperature and the time and then both buttons allow you to increase Or decrease. Then hold the left button again to change temperature time. After playing with it for about 10 minutes I was able to figure out what the buttons do and how they worked but it wouldn't be nice if they put some instructions in the manual actually there is no manual but there is a chart for a temperature and time for different types of filaments. I did see a difference after he eating a spool compared to using a spool that I just would zip up in a zip lock bag so I am satisfied with the product. I have been This dryer for a couple of weeks now and I found that by connecting it to my printer when I'm printing and hitting the filament Before it enters the printing There is a significant improvement to the print. I'm using PLA and I only heated to 40 degrees Celsius as it prints And I let it warm up for at least 1/2 an hour before printing.

Revives older filament
Revives older, brittle filament. Easy, automatic use, and slim design takes up minimal space. Would make a great gift for any 3d print hobbyist.

SUNLU S1 Plus Filament Dryer
Very good dryer. Dries my PETG with no issues. Nice and compact, fits my spool, and I love that I can print from it while drying.

I got the dryer after the discovery of how drying filament can make such a huge difference to print quality. I use it while printing as well as sometimes before, so like a currently have been using it for 40hrs straight for a 1day print(plenty of pre print drying), as then the prints come out spotless. Ideal for if you are trying to improve your prints, doubles as an regular filament holder too if you use a bowden tube to feed it to the printer. The biggest issue is you'll find eventually you might want more than just one!

Works fine but the dryer's exterior is fully plastic and feels flimsy, the packaging is also terrible by both sunlu and amazon, the dryer is packaged in sunlu cardboard box just inside a plastic bag and one 0.5mm thick piece of foam at the top (which I would assume is completely useless) and the power adapter is just zip tied to the rollers inside of the dryer and came loose during shipping and could havre easily cracked the whole exterior of the dryer during shipping and amazon's packaging is just a recycled paper bag. Pretty lucky that the thing came in one piece from europe to here.
