Because I place potty pads underneath for easy cleanup I can tell you that these DO NOT drain well at all. I even punctured more holes for even better drainage but that didn’t make a difference. I believe it’s because the grass length (longer) and density (thicker) which makes them look and feel great. These squares are definitely softer and nicer than the ones I usually buy but for my purpose (drainage) they’re not as good because they hold onto liquids more.
