Perfect for women too
Don't be fooled by the masculine name, this is the perfect scent for a woman who doesn't like all those girly floral perfumes. Every time I wear this, someone comments on how wonderful I smell. I really adore it.

Warm smokey herbs and spices with a hint of green fields and forest floors.
This is a really lovely scent. It's first hit is of really spicy notes and strong tobacco which warms with resinous and peppery notes. It is evocative of the French countryside with the scent of warm fields and woods but also has a gorgeous smokey herbs quality which is reminiscent of stepping from that sunshine into a medieval dark candlelit church with wafts of heady incense rising to the azure heavens. A really lovely comforting scent that despite it's masculine orientals has a lightness of touch that could be unisex, a really wonderful and memorable scent.

Paris, 1961. Imagine you're in a Left Bank bar. The heady smell of Gaullois, the freshly polished furniture, a steak frites in front of you. A priest enters, fresh from Mass. Patchouli and myrrh. That's how this perfume is. Masculine, French. Slightly Ecclesiastical.

Les Rues de la France dans c'est Parfum
This is spicy, strong, Oriental, with peppers and petunia chords against a smoky base note. Yes, we can see the tobacco kiosks amongst the patisseries and brassieres of St Germain in this French-themed "je ne sais quoi" fragrance. My rating is 6.9 out of ten.
