I needed a decent EDC bag without it being too bulky to carry into work or in the car. Plus I needed something that could handle the weight of my gear and to have tough enough fabric to stand the test of time. This bag proved very useful and met all my expectations. I'm able to fit my charger and cables, medication, small hand tools, carry license, wallet, a small med bag I thre together, notepad and writing utensils, a lighter, and my backup pistols. One is my EAA revolver and the other is a CZ75 compact for regular carry or a Glock 42 when I'm in dress/gym clothes. This is includes two spare mags for each. Bag has some weight but I'll have everything I need. The material is high quality to where I could throw this thing around through the muck and hell of nature and itll still dust off fine and hold its integrity. The stitching hasn't come apart in the 6 months Ive had the bag and that was a problem with other bags I've used prior. The zippers dont feel like crap quality and they hold up well to excess gear buildup if stacked too much. The snap clips are really rugged as well and dont feel like cheap plastic. Having to unclip the two in the front to get stuff is a little annoying but I can get over that since I like everything else on the bag. I dont wear this on my waist, mainly just carry in on my cart bag or just by hand to and from the car. I also hook on my bose speaker with a few d-ring to the rings it has attached and now I have it all in one and can detach quick If needed. And all of it can still be low profile to carry in the car with all of my other field tools, equipment, groceries and especially when I have guests in the car. Maxpedition is top of the line and will last you a lifetime. This is my second bag from them and I've just gotten their range bag and it doesn't disappoint either. You'll pay for quality but itll be worth it every time.

There's something about Maxpedition that sets themselves apart from the other competition. Unrelenting pursuit of quality, fit and form. Their products may not fully be made in the US anymore, but that won't keep me from wanting to purchase their products anymore, as their quality standards are stringent and firm. The double stitching, thick fabric and durable exterior all point to a quality bag that will last for years, if not decades. I picked up this Proteus to act as my flight carry-on for my electronics while traveling. It had enough storage inside of it that I could easily fit: - 12,000mAh Ankeny external battery - Nexus 7 - Kindle (Keyboard) - Bose Soundlink BT Headphones - Inflatable pillow - Misc. charging cables and wall adapter - Snacks - Toiletries The bag does come with a removable sling, and is positioned so that you can either sling it over your shoulder or cinch it tight as a waist pack. There is also webbing on the bag that would allow you to attach it to a modular backpack as exterior storage. Really, the whole thing is extremely versatile. A caveat I noticed however, is wearing clothing that is fleece or microfiber tends to wear away at the fabric. I was wearing an orange fleece jacket and after a day noticed significant wear transferring onto the back of the bag. I had to use tape to remove the fuzz. Other than that, I've had no issues with other clothes. One protip, if you intend on using the bag over your shoulder, consider adding a shoulder pad (non-slip) to prevent the bag from riding around when you're moving about or bending over to do some tasks. The bag will slide right on over and blunder into you. Easy fixes, should you want to.

Perfect pack?! This pack is the best! It is made of nice, heavy, bullet-proof fabric; has plenty of pockets; uses best quality, big, non-rusting zippers with paracord pulls, and has plenty of MOLLE loops. You can carry it or if necessary use it as a butt-pack. I use it as a small, separate peice of my bug-out-bag. My leatherman multi-tool and tactical flashlight are attached securely to the outside using the MOLLE loops. My concealed carry weapon fits into the front pouch. The 2 side pouches contain extra magazines, a folding knife, pepper spray, spare AA batteries, zippo lighter, and tinder. The main pouch contains an emergency cellphone and charger, water filter, spare glasses, spare medication, and a spare set of keys. It is super easy to grab, throw into whatever vehicle I am using that day, and have within reach while at work or home. I was a little worried about the quality after reading some of the other reviews, but am happy to say that the quality is top-notch and exceeds my expectations in every way! I may have to buy another one just in case they stop making this workhorse.

Lieferung erfolgte sehr schnell und vor der angegebenen Zeit. Die Tasche ist Maxpedition typisch super verarbeitet und es passt eine menge Kram rein, mehr als ich gedacht hätte. Für jeden Tag im Auto eine gute Alternative zu einem Rucksack, der für mich für jeden Tag zu gross ist. まず第一印象はごつくて重い。今時のカバンじゃありません。 その分生地も分厚いですし長く使えそうです。 ウエストポーチとして使うなら自重で斜めになってしまうのでショルダーハーネスなんかがあると良いと思います。バックルの滑りが良すぎるのでズレてしまうのが玉にきず。 というわけで自分は斜め掛けで使ってます。 メインポケットにはオーガナイザーなら5インチの物が4つくらい入ります。 財布と身分証、モバイルバッテリーくらいでパンパンになります。 サブポケットは表に一つとサイドに二つ、表には薄手のメモ帳やウエットティッシュなどを入れています。 サイドポケットはサイズが微妙で6㎝くらい。たばこの箱の幅と同じくらい。 高さは10㎝ほど有るのでモバイルバッテリーも10000mAhくらいの物なら入れられるかな？ カードケースを入れるのにちょうどよいです。 使いにくい点としては持ち手部分。こいつをいちいち外さないとメインポケットにアクセスできません。 海外ユーザーの中では切り取ってしまったりする場合もあるようです。 自分は無いと無いで寂しいのでそのまま使っています。 コンプレッションベルト的に使えるのでそれはそれで便利です。荷崩れしません。 メインバックルは2インチのデュラフレックスウォリアーなので、同じものを使っている製品なら使えます。maxpeditionとマグフォースならJanusが使えます。 取っ手のバックルはデュラフレックスのモハベのようなのですが、特につなげるものはないかな？ おススメの人は ・maxpeditionが好きな人 ・重くても頑丈なものが好きな人 ・大して荷物が多くない人 ・EDCギア好き かな？ 好き嫌いが凄く分かれそうです。

Le port et le volume du Proteus sont très bien pensés voire -selon moi- parfait pour organiser un kit de survie. Il se porte à la main, en ceinture ou en bandoulière et son volume permet lui permet d'insérer: -dans sa poche principale: une Nalgene de 1 litre, un quart en acier d'1/2 litre (s'il est compatible pour y recevoir la Nalgene) et une paire de gants de protection; - dans les 3 poches secondaires: tout le petit matériel d'un kit de survie synthétique. J'avais acheté une copie meilleure marché, car je trouvais la marque Maxpedition trop chère et c'est suite à une promotion que j'ai finalement découvert l'original: le Proteus est vraiment de bien meilleure facture et le tissu beaucoup plus solide. J'ai cassé ma tirelire mais je ne le regrette pas mon investissement!
